Fixed by completely reinstalling BFG edition as well as Hi Def. Must have been something that was caused by the modlauncher.
Aaaaand now it crashes on Erebus Labs whenever I take out the grabber.
Found a fix! Something with the way the motion blur works does NOT like it when I use the grabber or beserk powerup. Turning it off fixed it completely.
However, now I'm having a issue whenever I use the Grabber in ROE. If I try to use it (like picking something up), a massive white oval fills my screen until I stop using it (putting something down, shooting it away)
managed to fix this! someone in the comments posted a fix in 2015:
Locate the file \def\monster_demon_archvile.def and open it with note or notepad++. The wrong entry is in line 211
("def_attack2" "phrozo_arch_fwall.prt" //"archvile_flamewall_2.prt")
correct this line to:
"def_attack2" "archvile_flamewall"

I asked this on the mod facebook a few days ago but does anyone know any fix for when Arch-Viles attack and the game crashes? I can bypass it if I quickly kill them but it kinda sucks.
Is this any good? Has anyone tried this out?
