Sounds good man, keep up the good work
I posted some pictures about level 1. I think you'll be happy with them; they're a step in the right direction of being more like the concept art. :)
I posted a pretty extensive tutorial to modeling on the forum. I put everything that Neil said into words (or as much as I could remember). Check it out and let me know what you think... I will probably do something like that for the Level Design Forum too.
This might be reworked a little bit, but yes, it is a model. It is an enemy.
Thanks for the positive comments :)
Looks good, I hope it doesn't get C&D'd. I'll send you that pm of my sadness if it does :(
Definitely tracking this game. I like how you want to focus more on he architecture. Try and release it when Portal 2 comes out, you'll probably get even more downloads. I wish you the best of luck.
Hmmm... looks interesting. What kind of levels do you plan on adding?
I disagree, it's between basic units. Why would they have a lightsaber?
Starting the download now, I hope it lives up to the real battle! :P
Thanks! Keep checking back for updates. We're going to have the first level completed pretty soon.
If anyone checking out this game is a level designer and looking for work let me know! We can get you involved on the project if you have what we're looking for.
err sorry I should have been more specific. In a 4v4 deathmatch, what is the frame-rate like? The levels look good for what little you can work into them :)
This looks awesome! I wish I had a PSP... how does it run on it?
Hey, I fixed the game description to sound much better. :) Also, I think we need a little more info about the game in the description. A lot of the games on here have a page long description about their project.
The gameplay was fun, but the music could be better. The 3d aspect with the spinning balls of death was a little annoying. I found a weird bug too, if you die while jumping on a spring, you will continue to hear the sound and see the camera pan as if you were still alive. Keep up the good work!
The first level will be done before the conference if it's the last thing I do. Just waiting on some texture and models :)
Sigh... so many spelling errors. Am I going to have to start correcting your blogs too? :3
Wow! This game looks really cool. I love the art style to it. Who is the level designer? I would love to get some tips from him.
Looks pretty cool, I know how hard it is to develop levels in Hammer. You do an amazing job at it though. :)
Looks pretty cool guys, keep up the good work!
