All of my settings are at their highest and I have unpacked and replaced all the necessary files.
Could there be a problem with me trying to mod a steam version of the game somehow because so far its only when I build the airfield, if I don't build the airfield I can play an entire game without crashing.

I'm not sure where to go for help but playing the SBEA faction and crashes without fail either when I start to build the airfield or just before it's finished construction, I've tried 7 times already.

I do have a question, will I ever be able to have my Spirit of Fire back, I always loved having the most famous Phoenix class assault ship leading my fleets, if you can't tell, the Phoenix class is my favourite ship type of the UNSC fleet, but the weak colonizer variant always gets utterly destroyed if I try to bring it along to simulate the Spirit of Fire.

How are you attempting to activate the mod, to use the mod on steam you must place the mod in the mods folder, once that is complete, you then have to open the steam app itself and right click on the game and go to the bottom of the list and open properties, then click set launch option and right in the modpath, below is an example using a mod I am currently playing.
"swfoc MODPATH=Mods/AotR2.60"
input what is above without the quotation marks, it must be correct from the spaces and capitals including any punctuation the name of the mods folder may have.

This is one of my favourite mods of all time for Forces of Corruption, but I do have a question, when I'm playing in galactic conquest on the Galactic Civil War map, do the Empire ships have a limit to the number of waves that their ships can spawn, I was just testing out the 1.04 version and have spent the last 45 minutes fighting against 2 bellators and a small support fleet but I was still being overwhelmed by 100 fighters for every one of mine. I could only make a small dent in the fighter fleet with 20 of the YT series freighters before they returned to reinforce, this lasted the entire 45 minutes of the battle, I had to quit the battle before I lost my mind at just seeing all manner of tie fighters in my sleep.
I'm sorry if that sounds stupid but I just find this unusual, and truthfully frustrating as every battle was like this, as the rebellion were always the ones with fighter superiority.
like I said before, I absolutely love this mod, but I am forever being overwhelmed stupidly by unlimited waves of tie fighters of all types and it is killing both my laptop and me.
