Since blademaster lasts for a while, why not have him do the fancy Amon Hen animation at the beginning and then revert to the old animation? That way you can handle heroes coming at you with some support units.

The upper scales of the leg armor in the picture are blunt though ;)
But I agree, in-game it will probably not be noticeable anyway so it's not very important. Just thought I'd put my two cents in.

Great model as always!
I am concerned about the upper leg armor. Every time the soldier will move the knee upwards a bit (to walk for instance), the spikes on the top of this piece will hurt him in the thighs. I think that the upper leg armor needs to be blunt and flat on its top to be more realistic.

Amazing! I especially love the coloring of the helmet/mask - looks decaying.
The sword looks a little over-sized in the left image but seems fine on the right. Don't know if it's important/noticeable.

Only thing I'd change is I'd darken the color of the horse's armor. The sandy color looks out of place IMO.
