I wanted to add the TI OST to my Spotify collection, but all tracks are greyed out and unavailable for me for some unknown reason. Are they region-locked? This would be quite weird since I can literally download the entire OST to my PC from this page.

From what I see, the players are currently stuck between two choices:

1) 5.2 is more or less stable and doesn't crash on a whim, but it has no savegames.
2) 5.5 restored savegames, but crashes way too much.

I eventually had to find and try out the 5.2 version, at least it is stable enough to finish story missions.

I saw a couple of youtube videos played on "5.6Alpha", and I'll appreciate any info about it.

Somehow I've beaten the annoying patrols in Nod 10. The best way was just to forget about tanks and howitzers, and let only Vipers and infantry move past them.

I think the initial composition of the player's army should be revised. Engineers, Tank Hunters and Vipers are fine. Scorpions can't use their primary gun and Hammerheads are useless in ion storms, and when it ends, you get constantly harrassed by Globotech units who cannot see any Nod tech or the mission fails instantly.

Also, someone below said that Nod 14 freezes. I can confirm it. The game often freezes at random points for no apparent reason, and the only possible way to avoid it I see is to save the game as often as you can. I saw freezes in the very beginning of the mission, before destroying the initial GDI outpost to the north-west of the starting point, before walking along the shore with floaters, before infiltrating the Temple, after the player gets an MCV, etc.

By the way, why does the Ghost in Nod 14 suddenly forget about his stealth tech? It is inconsistent with previous missions, and the game itself does not explain why it happened. A short explanation like "my stealth suit was damaged and cannot cloak me anymore" would be enough.

EDIT:
Oddly enough, when I updated the game to 0.8.0.7 and switched to the CnC-DDraw renderer, the game became stable, and I was able to complete this mission without any freezes at all.

I'd really appreciate advice on how to avoid Globotech patrols in Nod 10.

Martinoz made a playthrough of this mission with an older version of the mod. In his video the patrols are easily oneshot by Hammerheads. In the current version of the mod Hammerheads use a different weapon which 1) doesn not function during ion storms, 2) would not kill a Guardian in one shot anyway (it would fail the mission if Hammerheads were able to fire).

To clarify: this GDI dropship was flying in the bottom right corner BEFORE map borders expanded. While it existed, the game could work for about 10 minutes, only to freeze later, this occurred 3 times in a row from the same save, and once when played straight from the mission start. There were no freezes in this particular mission after I shot it down. I saw people report freezes in other missions; if any dropships are present (and not despawned after doing their job), they MIGHT be the cause.

I have completed GDI 10 and noticed another issue.

The GDI vehicles which are supposed to arrive from the north at the end of the mission were already present for some reason (I can't tell the exact moment they appeared, but they were already here after the Marauders got close to the beast spawning area, and the ion storm began).

I was a bit baffled since I thought these were reinforcements who bugged out. The mission finale explained who these units were, but I think they appeared way too early and spoiled themselves.

I've found a weird issue in GDI 10 (The Beginning of the End).

My game was freezing up constantly, which never happened before without reason (I know the game is a bit salty about minimizing it, but this was not the case).

When I explored the map with my Marauder squad, I noticed that in the bottom right corner of the map there was a GDI Dropship. It was constantly landing and taking off in the same spot. I think it was the one which delivers Mobile Sensors when the script tells you about Nod mines.

After I force-ordered the Marauders to shoot it down, the mission kept working properly without any freezes.

The game apparently forgets to despawn the unit, making it behave erratically.

Also, if you order flying units too close to the same corner, they will be shot down by an invisible SAM site located beyond the accessible map border.

People at Project Perfect Mod spoke that GT currently exists as unbuildable tech structures without proper animations. They don't have the proper working tech tree, and for a reason.

They cannot be added as a playable faction without borking up half of the game, due to engine limitations.

I saw a mod which added two more playable factions to TS with their own tech trees, but that was made possible by using ugly crutch-like fixes.

I think this idea is not particularly good for the mod in general.

Buckshot still exists in the mod, but in 0.8 you need to own both GDI and Nod Technology Centers if you want to build it.

There might be a memory leak problem in the game engine. If memory leaks somewhere, you can have the best gaming rig in the world but the game will screw up and freeze or crash after some time.

It is difficult to say what and where went wrong, since I played three first missions spending about 1-2 hours for each of them, and the only crash I saw was the failed attempt to save the game manually.

I can't believe my long-forgotten account at Moddb actually works.

I've completed first three missions of the Forgotten campaign. I am a newcoming player who started immediately from 1.2.0, so I speak as a person not familiar with earlier versions.

For now the game looks solid, but it has certain issues. What I managed to see so far (I confirm what Destroyer5000 says below):

1.) The game immediately crashes with an error every time I try to save the game myself (autosave between campaign missions seems to be fine).

2.) The Fissure tank fires an odd red ball (larger than its own barrel) instead of a shell. The game apparently fails to see the shell model and replaces it with a placeholder.

3.) The third mission has a bizarre space where the land stretches a little bit, forming a small square outside the lower map border. This bugged space is located at the lower map border to the left of the player's base. If you place base defences nearby, enemy units will position themselves here and shoot your defences. It is really difficult to target units caught in this space, and base defences seem to be ignoring hostiles there. I have already see Nod laser artillery and recon bikes hiding there.

4.) The objectives screen is always empty but it seems to be a minor issue.

Greetings, comrades.

I have played the first version of your mod and it was quite promising. I hope next one will be as great as the previous. Although it had some weird stuff like not very good voice for Russian units and strange combination of democratic two-headed eagle/tricolor flag and Soviet hammer and sickle (they cannot be combined as they completely contradict each other!). Other than that, the mod was nice. Keep up with good work!

well, as far as I know, this RockPatch for some unknown reason causes game to launch WITHOUT your game CD =)
you may try to get a patched gamemd.exe and install RockPatch, then you'll have some fun. =)

the mod is advancing on its way to the release, new AI is being developed by comrade DEAD~mOROZZZ but we have encountered some problems with RockPatch.
Renessans will be released only when a stable version of RP without critical bugs will be released. The matter is that RP 1.08 had some troubles with Psychic Dominator clones, and Ion Cannon was impossible to implement. RP 1.08SE always gives synchronisation error while playing online. Pure lunatic asylum :D
