Phew good job bro! Just finished the Claire scenario and I must say I really enjoyed it. I feel like some of the text needs to be improved though, specially the new puzzle in the factory. It's not worded very well, but it's doable. Is it too hard to make adjustments to the text? Oh and is Annette Birkin's appearance near the very end some sort of hint of something to come or perhaps some secret? Happy new year, by the way!

Hey, great job! The new stuff was quite nice, but it was somewhat easier than the last version. Will there be a hard mode like the previous version? Keep up the good work, it's truly great to be able to enjoy the old school Resi games in a new light.

Oh also the 'fast zombies' do an animation in which they are holding their belly which makes them really slow...is that intentional? They used to be quite the threat but they're pretty much like the other zombies now with a bit more health and they only run very rarely (at least for me)

My friend, love your mod and I'm a long time resident evil player, specially the classics, and RE2 is my favorite alongside Outbreak. I ran your mod (Overhaul/Origin of species) many times and I have a few suggestions for enemy placement and such that I think would make it more fun to everyone while still hard. If you're interested, let me know. Once more, thanks for the awesome mod!

Hey, don't mind the hateful comments and all. You even added EASY mode to make it so people can beat it without difficulty, so keep it hard and fun as it is, that's what Resident Evil is all about. Keep up the good work, can't wait for Claire's story.

Played it as soon as it was out and man good job! It's a bit harder than before and the new stuff and surprises were amazing. I'll likely try Hard mode soon too. But let me ask, the G-virus didn't show anything upon checking this time...is the safe password somewhere else now?

Friend! Just a little something to help clear confusions: It seems people are understanding the "32 variations" bit as 32 different Endings. Will chapter 3 really have 32 different "endings" or are those variations things like if you do X thing (like pick up some ammo outside) Y thing happens (like that dog in the bus) ?

If it's the second option, you might want to add/change something to explain it better, sort of like I did. Maybe put it like: "And remember: there are 32 variations (items, enemies and events change location/etc) depending on your choices and the order in which you visit the police station areas!"

Just saying it because I read/heard a lot of people get that confusion...so this could clear it up and make it so people don't think you're lying or something.

Are you sure? You see, I watched most of it and I didn't see you pick up a lockpick I wasn't aware of. The problem here is that if you unlock Rita's 'gotcha' door, you naturally have one less lockpick (because otherwise it's Alyssa that unlocks that door, but you still need to unlock Alyssa's door regardless if you unlocked Rita's) so basically unless you can end the scenario with one extra lockpick normally (Or that extra lockpick only appears if you unlock Rita's door), you would have one lockpick missing, which then if you leave Alyssa's door for last, you're screwed.

Unless I somehow managed to to miss that extra lockpick in your video, I'm pretty sure it's possible to get that soft lock (albeit it's reaaaally rare, probably harder to get than the 'heart key before diamond key' one. I'll watch the whole video one more time later to be sure. Also just beat Hell Mode. Pretty fun and less painful than I thought.

Akumu though...why? Just why? T-T A think an Akumu mode with the "Normal" difficulty pickups/ammo would be a bit more fair than having the "Hell Mode" pickups. But hey at least you made sure to warn us that difficulty wasn't suitable for everyone :)

It's easy to verify this soft lock if you answer this: Did you make a 'radiant' lockpick that only appears if you unlock Rita's lock? If NO, then is possible to end the scenario with everything unlocked (RPD safe & armory locker), Alyssa rescued (without the player unlocking Rita's door themselves) and have 1 lockpick remain? If NO than the soft lock is possible for sure.

Reminder that it's not a 'glitch' it's just the player being unable to progress due to a few 'dumb choices'.

Oh I see! I must have missed a very sneaky lockpick somewhere. And I searched really hard. I'll try to look around some more or watch the playthrough if I can't. Thanks for answering anyways! This mod is truly something, the attention to detail is amazing. Really loved that special touch of realism with the USS zombies.

Thanks for the patch my friend! It fixed the problem with the unicorn secret for me. However while replaying I found another "hard to get but still possible" soft lock, or at least it seems like it:

If one unlocks everything they can without unlocking the door to Alyssa, you can run out of lockpicks and then be unable to get the valve and progress.

I used the new updated main download and reinstalled and it seems like it worked. Did you make it so she locks the door right as you pass regardless of the order of events? (I know that lots of stuff varies, so just making sure that was it) Because if yes, then that it probably works. Will try it again later without inf. ammo and varying the order a bit to make sure, thanks!

There was a game breaking bug in Episode 1 (If you give Rita the full heal, then grab the first key half in Marvin's office, then head upstairs through the safe room, craft the club key and find Alyssa and then head back, Rita locks you outside but then the cutscene glitches because Hunk is on the stairs and can't reach the room so the game soft locks.

Does the patch fix that?
