If you got anything messing with weather files? If so its likely that, those weather config files usually come with a reshade so check that. Btw the reshade isn't the problem, its the weather config file cuz my textures are based on vanilla but idk if they work with other weather configs.

Surprisingly no, cube maps can overwrite skies redux but my reasoning for having skies redux overwrite is a. enhanced shaders still look just as good and b. you get new sky textures since cube maps are just the old skies that anomaly has but a little better, realistically speaking not that much better.

Winter mode is well known for being ultra bright on DX8, as for fixing the moon, my friend jdude made those for me and both of us have taken a break from stalker modding, I still support my mods but jdude's gone full awol so yea, if you want to solve this yourself, i reccommend asking the stalker anomaly discord's modding-arts channel, at one point, i plan on fixing but idk when also your english is pretty good.

Get rid of Anomaly Sky Bloom Fix, its redundant in the 1.5.1 update since it was integrated into Anomaly 1.5.1 and was designed only for 1.5.0

If you want a good modpack, go with Grok's GAMMA modpack or EFP. Its up to you here, both are equally good. Anyway, I will give you the links to their discords so you got support as well:

Basically you can't go wrong.

I got multiple ideas. I will list from most likely to least:

1.(Most likely) Provak - this pack is known for causing problems period. Its prolly an issue by default.
2. Shaders - Your shaders got corrupted.
3. Merging Between Skies Redux and Provak - Bro provak is such a mess that if you try to do even a minor change to fix the text(its literally like changing a letter), your game will prolly brick. Like Im not even kidding, provak will break your game.
4.(least likely) Skies Redux - I messed up? But then I would hear more reports, so least likely.

Personal Honest Suggestion: Delete Provak, theres better modpacks and you should ideally make your own build rather than others.

Yeah your right, i haven't played anomaly in a long time so idk whats working and whats not but it really shouldn't be too hard to adapt it to the latest version, whenever i get a break from school i will update it.

Sorry for the hella late response but Im not sure. If you have mod manager you can check if anything is getting overwritten or not and if so, you could try using winmerge to merge and stop crashes or it could be that this mod is outdated, not sure, haven't played anomaly in a good while now cuz of irl school so i cant be sure.

Unless you have like a laptop from 2001, theres no fps difference between 2.1 and 2.1a. 2.1a is also way more high quality in comparison to 2.1 since in 2.1, most things were 512x512 in resolution while in 2.1a, all are 1k in resolution except the emission skyboxes which are 2k. Theres no difference in permissions.

Also about your other image(i got no idea where it went), but the color banding on it is caused my excessively low or high contrast plus high or low brightness. Just be careful with your settings or else you will get a lot of color banding and I will try my best on my end to minimize that too.

Yup! I am currently working on a 4k version. To me, most of the skyboxes are good but like you said, they are pixelated at times, also color banding occurs on them sometimes too, so yeah 4k version seems like the best idea.

Careful changing the contrast and brightness in game too much. It leads to hella color banding and it will cause the sky to look like complete garbage like that.

The featureless white sky thing is a bug from 1.5.0 not 1.5.1 so check your version too. Also maybe try this fix not sure if it works or not on 1.5.1 but here: Moddb.com. Also delete shader cache too, might help.

Not all skyboxes are changed. Check emissions to see if its different since those are the easiest way to tell if the mod works or not. Also, make sure you install via MO2. JSGME & manual aren't recommended and I would discourage its use for modding Anomaly. Lastly, the file might have gotten corrupted while downloading, download again and reinstall. Hopefully, this should help.
