Is this newer 1.10 monster table created in memory only from the monstats files?
Hello!
The next update will focus on bug fixes. Some new code will be held back for further compatibility testing, so that will be a different update. Its possible to look into this after next release is done and feedback from that.
Thanks for the suggestion!
socketing/personalization, it seems like a similar issue was fixed 3 or 4 versions prior to the current version. What version are you using?
That could also be caused by conflict in values between BaseMod.bin to BaseMod.ini, if your using that as a leftover, because values in BaseMod.bin over-rides the values in BaseMod.ini, if its present.
Additional DLL's with D2GS. It can be changed to allow extra DLL's to load, but not many plugins support D2GS. Just don't expect a lot of support if the plugin doesn't work. My testing environment for D2GS is a 20 year old lap top, that's long over due to for the trash can.
Classic version. Not many people play classic, but if you find any issues with that version feel free to post them, and I'll resolve that in the next release.
Socketing and Personalization costs are based on player percent of level 99. as the player increases levels the cost is more.
BaseMod has only EXPERIMENTAL SUPPORT for D2GS. I never use it myself, and have no interest in private servers. For the next release I will add a minor improvement support for custom versions of D2GS, instead of only supporting the pre-canned versions 1.13c and 1.13d.
EDIT:
With D2GS it doesn't load additional DLL's. The Rational was I didn't want 100 people asking why they cant get PlugY to work in D2GS.
I am not sure if this mod does what your asking for, but it may. If not, he may be interested in adding that as a more traditional feature. Moddb.com
Thanks for reporting the bug, and clarifying the issue. It sounds like an overlapping grid situation. This will get evaluated and patched in the next release.
Hi, sorry for a late reply.
I'm sure its possible to restore Act V to its pre-1.10 state, but editing the D2 txt files to make those changes, is not interesting to me.
Thanks for your interest, but sorry.
Do other ini settings take effect in autopickup? What happens if you disable gold, gems, etc?
If not Check your installation, follow installation.txt. Make sure you have BaseMod.ini in the same folder as BaseMod.dll. Re-install a fresh copy of BaseMod.mpq, to make sure it's not a leftover from another Mod installation that included BaseMod.mpq
Hi - If you installed BaseMod as part of a Mod, the mod maker can lock the ini file settings with a special file inside BaseMod.mpq. If you install BaseMod, plain not part of a mod, by default you can change the settings with BaseMod.ini.
If you want to play a more vanilla style game, remove BaseMod.mpq from your game folder, that will remove the countess drops.
Shared stash is something I've wanted to do for a long time. In 2024 I'll make time for a maintenance release, but don't think I'll have time to do any serious code, till I'm more stable financially. 2024 is the year when people say enough is enough "ƒµ¢K the ÑWØ".
Hi, Maybe you can try this file at this time.

Hi,
BaseMod already does what your asking in BaseMod.ini. Sounds like you have a bad install, or an incompatible plugin. Reinstall following installation.txt. BaseMod supports PlugY, D2SE, and has experimental support for D2GS, which is undocumented. Outside of that no other plugins are supported in the current version.
Hello, easy to do what your asking in standalone, a non-D2SE installation, in the following way:
Copy BaseMod.dll and BaseMod.ini into your Diablo II folder. This must be the same folder where Game.exe and PlugY.dll exists. Open BaseMod.ini and edit to disable the feature sets you don't want, then edit PlugY.ini to load BaseMod.dll. start the game and test.
1) Delete BaseMod.mpq and install a fresh copy, if you use that file in your installation.
2) If that does not take care of the issue. Re-install BaseMod, follow instructions in Installation.txt file. BaseMod.dll has to load into the game from either a modified game.exe or from PlugY.dll.
There is one more planned update.
The error is likely YOUR ERROR, from a CORRUPT TXT file. They're not really plain text files, and certain ones can be corrupted simply by opening and saving with notepad. That said there are issues with perfect drop, not what you've reported, but that feature set is already slated for removal on the next update. I'd suggest to check your txt files with D2 Txt analyzer.
I'm not going to dissect BaseMod into one function dll's. The next version will detect unsupported plugins. I'm not going to spend time mapping out all the possible conflicts with unsupported plugins because they're moving targets with 1000's of patches. That said, I think it would still be allowed for people to choose an option to run with unsupported plugins.
Downloads are suspended until the next update.
Q: When will that be?
A: When i have time to work on it.
I think Aeon, had a version of it bundled with PlugY for D2SE, but I don't know if it's an outdated version.

1) Extract the zip file to your desktop.
2) Open README1ST.txt for a step by step install.
You can Use Translate.google.com to read that txt file, if it's not in your language. The Console Installer is English only.
Not without new code addition. Act5 mercs animation suggests dual wield but it does double damage instead.
Does this issue only occur in D2GS, or effect other modes, single player, multiplayer?
Can you tell me what line and column in Monstats.txt I would need to modify to reproduce the issue?
Disable other plugins besides BaseMod, and test. Add plugins one at a time, then test, to see if and where there's a conflict occurring.
BaseMod IIRC, doesn't intentionally change anything to do with monsters, except for remapping the 3 Uber AI's, to the corresponding Act Boss AI.
I'm happy that you found the conflict. Many times casual users don't solve these issues. I plan to better support HackMap in the next release, so knowing this may help.
Check your other plugins. BaseMod is not compatible or supported with PD2, or UVLoD.
read the Installation.txt file in the zip file.
