Particle beam weapons may or may not have been considered obsolete by the time of the GCW, and since the class of MC capital ship is pretty much unknown it may have just been scavenged tech or something. The beams on the HMP weren't it's canon armament, and the LAAT used composite beam weaponry which wouldn't function well in space for various reasons.

Thanks for the response! I downloaded the file, and copied them into the Mods\CaW\Data folder, and replaced what it asked me to replace. It has textures, models, and XMLs for the Orion, but they are not purchasable at level 5. Marathons are also still at 5, everything broadsides, etc. The mod is still very much playable but I'd like to be up to speed with the latest version. I'm willing to take any tips you have for correcting this, although it'll be difficult to pinpoint considering it's more than likely something on my end. Nonetheless, you guys have a great thing going here, great mod! Best of luck in developing this for the community!

In the next update may we have Revan's force cloak removed? It's really just useless since he can both heal and straight up resist any damage done to him. I feel like he isn't very effective against vehicles so force crush may be a better option. Force corrupt would also be a good move, seeing as Revan's already rallied so many forces. This would also prove to decrease how OP he is considering whenever I almost kill him he cloaks away and I have to wait for him again. Just about any other ability would prove to be more useful than force cloak. Great mod, hope to see more out of this from you.

I've had this problem for months, but I finally want to get this addressed; does anyone else's update not work? I updated CaW\Data, removed and replaced, and it has the coding for the Orion and such, but it still won't update. Totally confused.

They either need that or make Republic ships build 20% faster if Kuat is controlled I guess. If they can't win with power, then they at least need numbers. The Tector would be a nice addon though. Another nice addon would be some type of superweapons for the Republic, like a Procurator cruiser. Considering their limited hyperdrive, they could only be allowed to jump from planets 1 at a time, and at a slow pace, for gameplay balance. The Republic needs an advantage over the CIS, I don't care what, they just need one. And you should put Fighter Strikes into the game, like just a quick run firing lasers at a targer, and it moves and follows the target. 2,500 credits? Take this into consideration :D
