Im a team member, and no one has talked to each other in close to a year. Pretty sure its dead.

Ok so I have not been contacted by the mod leader for well over 7 months; so I am just assuming this mod is dead. I am pulling my story out of this mod, as I can use it else were. For those wishing to see this mod come to fruition, I have been trying to contact the owner of the mod to see if me and some mates can turn it in to a stand alone game, but I have had no response. If some one knows how to contact mad monkey could they please send me a PM.

I think he is referring to the use of the term 'Pavelow', which is what its called in MW2.

If you guys want I can release some more background information to hold you over until the next update. :D

I made them give up so quick because they were not part of one of the sides, so they knew that military action would probably not be wise; so they folded.

Scotland is part of the United Kingdom, but they are still their own country. That is why I treated them as such.

The USSR were not under the control of the Nazi's they where their allies. But then when they could not defeat them and their loss seemed inevitable, they then went to the USA for help.

At the end of the Cold War the Soviet Union destroyed barely any rockets, they still have large quantities of them and spent the rest of the 90's selling them to anyone they could to bolster their economy.

The mod is set when the war has begun again after the long years of peace, they will be called the UN but will speak in their native tongue.

I few news posts ago I posted the story for it, I cant remember all the countries off the top of my head but check it out its in there.

The symbol itself has actually been used throughout history as a sign of peace and tranquility. It was only given negative connotations after World War 2 when the Nazi party used it as its symbol.

The symbol when used in the context of Nazi's does command a racist presence, but we cant remove it when the game is based around Nazi's. The swastika is a central part of the Nazi doctrine. Removing it would be like removing the cross from a game on Christianity because it might offend people from the Middle East.

I know about the history of the Reich's. Reich is German for Empire and the concept of these three large empires started with the Nazi party naming themselves the Third Reich. This showed that they where as good as these previous empires and where planning to aspire to be like them in size and nature.

We are not using the Swastika because it is another Reich, we are using it because they are Nazi's trying to create another Reich.

Majority of groups still use the original swastika.

Because they have the same beliefs as Nazi Germany from World War 2 they keep the original Swastika to tie into the Third Reich.

The swastika may make it look like a generic shooter, but you cant remove a central part of Nazi dogma from the game. Even Nazi's today use the swastika so it is still an appropriate part of a Nazi based storyline.

It may not be a good story but I tried as hard as I could within the parameters I was given. I and team think it is a good story, everyone that proof read it and edited it also thought it was a good story, so right now its majority against your opinion. And what picture are you talking about?

You started an argument with a fellow team member and I came into it to support him, your advice was directed at him not at me so you haven't given me any advice to adhere too.

We haven't deleted anything, ModDb's commenting system is a tad buggy and hides some comments when to many appear.

So buddy quit coming on our page and insulting us, if your brand of help involves constant waves of criticism and doubt, then we dont want your help.

You can criticize our work when you actually have something to show for yourself. Your profile is pretty much blank.

I think we should all change our DP's to the dev team pic. Will make us seem more serious and more like a team.

It is sad to see that when we score a good point by getting in the Top 100 for 2010, people just want to try and bring us down a peg by insulting and criticizing our mod.

I thought this community was better than that, evidently I was proven wrong.

Just goes to show that quality content can beat flashy looks.

People haven't been offended at the large quantities of World War 2 games with the swastika in it, so why would they not like it in our mod?

The Americans and the Soviets sign a treaty which stops the fighting. Canada becomes comepletely under the control of the USSR.

Ok guys, story update. I have got all my edited copies back, so I will be putting the finishing touches on the story tomorrow or over the weekend and then it will be ready to post :D

Im a silent worker, I have finished the story and only just got my proof read copies back from my editors. Should be out soon :D

I had not finished it before now because I had school, school finished 4 days ago so I finished it in that time. But now I am going overseas and can not get it fully edited as I am not taking my laptop with me. Be patient, it will be out when its done.
