It's happening!
*Hand wave*
I'm here because of the roosterteeth podcast :3
It's supposed to be a test bed for technologies the UNSC has gathered over the course of the war. Whether any new weapon technologies are present is not known besides the Spartan IVs on board. If I had my glasslands book next to me I'd start citing it. I would have to classify it as both though, super warship/support class. It can do both because it's friggin HUGE
OK I do have to agree with you, I never even finished that one...I just didn't like it much. I'll read all the way one day but its just like WTF? Fall of Reach is my favorite, Circumference Battle, Battle of Sigma Octanus IV and the Battle of Reach. I LOVE space battles, Ghosts, The Dusk Prowler and the UNSC battle group. God I love Halo...
Obvious troll is obvious.
I didn't even see your comment and I was thinking the exact same thing. I never finished Nexus: The Jupiter Incidents campaign, had trouble with a mission and then other games caught my attention and yeah...
Dude I liked that story, makes me think about the space battles in the books, they need more. Keyes loop, battle for Reach, the slipspace bubble battle, the Dusk and its nuclear mine trap, god I love halo...
I saw the space banshee and was like "Really...So uncreative". Make seraphs the fighters as they're MEANT to be and then make your own bombers, something that derives from the seraph design but distinct enough to be a separate design.
I'm going to guess either Unyielding Hierophant or the Sovenants anti-structure ship, kinda like the Ogrov. A weapons platform doesn't HAVE to be stationary.
It could be a the same as a Dyson sphere, there are adaptations of it as a Dyson Ring.
I do, I'll send the link in a private message.
I was facing a standard Vaygr AI, I was playing as the Hiigarans. What do you mean "Did I ping?"
My games do not end with the victory condition I have set, I destroy all enemy capital ships, but it just doesn't end...
So I'm in the middle of a game right now, I have 30 long-range missile frigates. Very nice destroying battlecruisers from afar b/c they can't hit me, but the up-close destroyer, well, let's just say he's being circled by a very large cloud of missiles that never hit him! He's tearing my frigates apart and I can't seem to get him. Do you think you can fix the long-range missiles from endlessly circling a target just because they move around a bit?
The Normandy? Do I sense a reference to Mass Effect? Shoulda named a warship that, not a flagship.
My first thought would be the downloader. You're using the normal internet explorer downloader right? I'm no expert on this, but try using another browser and see if that works, maybe firefox or google chrome.
I would also try this: Cybershade.us
Hope I helped!
I do like to fight to my last ship. In one game, the enemy had 3 destroyers parked over the top of my cloaked flagship and my shipyard was nearby making a missile battlecruiser. When the cloak ran out and I was losing the shipyard fast, suicide bomb flagship, all enemies gone. Also, stealth bombers are an awesome idea.
I've barely played as the Hiigarans because I can't get over the awesomeness of the Vaygr warships. My favorite ship by far is the missile battlecruiser and it's drones.
Oh, and what does a hyperspace homing probe do? It's description just says "Beacon..."
Keep up the brilliantly awesome work!
I didn't even know you could ram ships, I just got it as close to enemies and detonated it, or let a swarm of their fighters take it out, that's the best. "Let's see, you have 50 fighters, annnnnnnd gone. Congrats, idiot AI"
150-200? Reach had 20, Earth has 300, Onyx had none and Tribute is in the same system as Reach would have been defended by the UNSC fleet stationed there.
I can't see Earth having 300 in-game, to overpowered.
Freakin SWEET! I have been dying to try the missile battlecruiser and custom names.
Yeah, I was building ships to see if I could kill the covies, they built 3 assault carriers (Total of 5) in the time it took me to make 3 astraeus, 20 destroyers, and 5 of each halcyons and marathons. Needless to say I lost all my ships, but they failed to kill my shipyards, which then built 2 more astraeus and 10 destroyers and finished off the last 2 AC's.
Or add the research. I had destroyers on the second mission (Angel Moon), I also had Sajuuk and a vaygr carrier, although the carrier was useless =(

Saw this picture a while ago, then today I see it again, but this time accompanied by an article! This game collection is at the University of Calgary: Loltimeout.com
I love the sound of that! As long as the AI falls for it, even just sometimes. Also, love that Eva avatar Razihel (Ramiel?)
My brain just died. Punctuation please! I think Pouk will have a hard time reading this...
So I added punctuation.

you know what would be great, a hiigaran dreadnought class. also can you please please please give the single purpose ships (the missile frigate and the ion frigates) some of those anti fighter guns that carriers have? you'd think they would have them since they can't use anti fighter turrets, that would just make my year(the next one). great job on this mod, it has come such a long way, keep up the great work and I hope it doesn't fade into the void like so many other good hw2 mods.
True, I've faced very few non-AI opponents in an RTS game... But the ones that I did play were very interesting, especially that 4 hour game in C&C 3 Tiberium Wars for Xbox (Won that one =)
Thank you for the compliment and nice war speeches.
When I made a run at his flagship, he had a lot of fighters/bombers, ~10 frigates, 2 destroyers and 1 BC that just popped out of a shipyard. I had 4 lightly damaged BC's and 14 damaged interceptor squadrons. Stupid BC took out one of mine as it was blowing up with it's tri-cannon, saw it coming too... Anyway once that was out of the way I had a total of 5 BC's against minor resistance. Once you know the AI's moves you can plan accordingly.
Can't wait until next release. Lol hadn't played Homeworld in a long time, so last night I played a 1V1, me as the Hiigarans against an expert Vaygr on Hostillities End. I won. That surprised me. But it's only b/c I skipped destroyers and went straight for BC's.
