great custom story. out of the 20 or so i've played so far this is hands down my favorite.

this CS has a great story. rather than being set in the 1800s, it takes place in present day as you follow a group of anthropologists into a 200 year old mansion. the notes really help progress the story and are well written.

the chase scenes are great. so exciting!

the only complaint i have against this mod is that i felt overwhelmed with objectives on the first floor. at one point you have 6 objectives in your notebook and at first they seem completely independent of one another. it wasnt until i made a little progress that i realized they were all connected, which made the play through a little less frustrating. i still felt a little confused throughout most of the first floor.

if you're going to play any one amnesia CS, this better be it.

pretty clear that story wasn't a main focus here. the story didnt really make sense. the nightmare mode was pretty cool and different. very short and overall just average.

not much to really say. somebody was practicing for develping a more in-depth project and decided to put a test mod for users to enjoy.

not very unique of a story or gameplay. im interested in whatever project the developer is really working on though.

kind of tough to rate this one since its so short. its like a 5 minute play through, but that is to be expected since its a prelude.

its is definitely the most unique CS i've played so far. the atmoshpere and tone of the CS is very different from any CS ive ever tried. the five minute it took to complete left me wanting more.

simple story, short play through time. exciting chase, escape, and RUN! scenes.

unique first person narration, i haven't seen that in a CS yet.

levels were kind of bland.

really short with some bland level design. no jumpscares, just one traditional amnesia style encounter. hopefully chapter 2 is a little longer.

some parts of the levels dont connect with eachother- there are holes. some clipping issues as well.

pretty good story and a perfect length custom story. not too long and not terribly short. the effort that goes into developing a multi-path and multiple ending custom story is definitely worth some credit as well.

the only thing that bothered me was the size of the maps- for example the underground dungeon area. i started to feel like some of the areas were frustratingly huge, like the chapel and the water area where you grab the key. if some rooms and corridors were scaled down by half i think it would be much more enjoyable. just a personal preference.

good mod. worth the time.

not terribly exciting and pretty short. that statue gimmick was pretty cool though.

good, not great. better than most custom stories in terms of gameplay and story. there are jumpscares/teleporting naked guys but its justified because the character is supposed to be losing his mind. the jumpscares are not overdone and im definitely going to play chapter two there was just nothing that makes you say "wow, im going to play that again!"

nothing that really WOWed me. plenty of jump scares and poofers. pretty short mod.

it wasn't great but also wasnt bad. just average. if you have 30 minutes give it a try.
