The player takes the role of Samuel Dickens, an English nobleman who has to figure out what is causing this living nightmare. This is meant to be a short custom story as this is my first and is primarily meant for practice.
yes, maybe in 2011 it was a good mod, but now (2022) unfortunately it's just a hack...

I didn't like this old custom story too much.
Not great. It is functional, however it is buggy, monsters cannot navigate around simple corners it seems, and there's an unavoidable death in the basement. Really short and basic, even worse than some demo maps. Bland rooms. Not recommended.

Puzzles were a little to right there in your face. Which is to say not really puzzles at all. I would have liked it to be longer. All in all I really enjoyed it so I think you are on the right track.
While you have a story and actully pretty decent notes to read, the level design is not even close to good. With missing celilings, 1000 texture glitches, huge empty rooms and monsters spawning for absolutely no reason, this CS is nothing I recommend.
I do understand that this is your first story, but stories like this should be kept to yourself as a learning experience.

its a good first map. im not sure about all the monsters poping in and out at rondom times. tho but nice map
not much to really say. somebody was practicing for develping a more in-depth project and decided to put a test mod for users to enjoy.
not very unique of a story or gameplay. im interested in whatever project the developer is really working on though.
