Just a little correction that its technically hakenkreuz, not swastika which is a hindu symbol, at least as far as real historical accuracy goes. Anyway, great simple mod, I appreciate it being accurate now, the censorship for kids and over-sensitive people (what is in many cases the same thing) who just repeat the blatant post-war propaganda and movie fiction is getting pretty annoying. Thanks a lot.

I think you need to run the game in -dbg .. It enables all debug features to fix stuff, test stuff, some cheat tools as well etc. Make shortcut for DA if you dont have it already, right-click it, open properties, and at the end of the "Target" line add space after quotation marks and then write -dbg. It should look something like this: "D:\Games\STALKER Dead Air v098b\xrEngine.exe" -dbg

Thats somehow a very mainstream thing to do nowadays, you either censor it, like everyone does regarding certain ww2 matters, or you go with the propaganda, and propaganda is the only thing that comes on a silver platter unfortunately, truth requires more effort, and many times its pretty obvious and not so interesting as lies.

Hi its gamedata-config-ui-maingame_16.xml .. Apply variant A then open that file and scroll to the bottom there is a <static_fire_mode. section.. I think originally the offset of that indicator is x=999 and y=734, or its 930 and 722 not sure, either way make those offset values somewhere around this so the ammo counter shows up on the UI again and then you might need to adjust the x and y offset a bit more so you have it in the desired possition on the UI.. GL
edit: also I suggest using notepad++ freeware so its easier to edit these things, but for a simple edit like this normal notepad should be enough if its not too messed up in it

I think this is more needed than ever these days because these mods are literaly mod on top of a mod that is on top of another mod

If you mean for example the chimeras "Health = 800" then yeah.. Thats for offline alife.. I mean there are even notes in these configs telling you so.. You can tweak this number even to millions and it wont affect the creatures health when you normally encounter it.. Those parameters in that section are only for offline simulations, meaning the creatures are either in other/close map or they are beyond the switch distance that is like 150 to 300 meters.. (depends on the game, mod, personal setting).. The MaxHealthValue doesnt do anything when the creature is online.. If I remember correctly, I kinda think I do tho.. It probably once again acts like a multiplier to the offline Health parameter..

Yeah HP-Pool wise.. if there was such a thing.. Basically Every creature that isnt in a-life simulation has the same health.. For example 100.. The immunities decide how tough the creatures are, lower the immunity value, the less damage it takes from that specific thing.. Above 1.0 its like a multiplier, it seems like value of 20 is the same as 1 but its actually not as some weapons can have the base damage so low that the creature wont die even if you set its immunity to 1.0.. At for example value of 20, what is an overkill, you make sure that you made the multiplier so high that even a ricochet from the weakest gun in-game will kill the creature, for example rat, its an intetion not a mess in the files

They have the same health as every other creature in the game.. Those zeroes in immunities are what makes it seem like it has low health as it can be one-hit killed with anything.. thats the point

If you say fix then I presume you found something broken in it.. Anything specific in mind? Also I was thinking about tweaking the drains of those things and making batteries more expensive but I was unable to find configs which handle how much power which device drains..

use fix from my addon so they stop pushing you around or if just edit it yourself by reducing their mass to 0.. how can you play it with them pushing you around I dont understand :D
Edit: Btw I just remembered.. they behave the weird way only when you are on like steep hill or theres some weird terrain around you.. it never happened to me on a nicely open area without obstructions.. I considered this a pretty rare to do something about it.. Sure there are some weird values set now by some of DA devs.. They pretty much made some tryhard changes changing as much as they can, even unimportant things and mechanics which were working fine.. It nicely makes sense after you play like anomaly.. you can totally feel how they left the working stuff untouched while its other way around in DA

If you apply only the .dds file does it make problems? Or which file.. try to pinpoint it.. Also what resolution do you use.. I cant really think of what could make such weird problems.. I was testing this UI part of my addon like 3 times already on a clean install without having any problems with any of the variants.. mostly tested on 16:9, 1080p, 1440p native, and 4k and 5k upscaled without problems

I cant send you anything right now as I am out of home for few weeks but it should be in gamedata/configs/creatures, you can download the unpacker, it should be here somewhere in addons and only unpack the configs dat file.. There either adjust fire wound immunity or search for bip01 with values,usually its damage value resistances to like head back and stuff and usually theres multiple for every type like weak or strong or like normal or quest.. It should work like percentual so 0.1 would be 10% of normal damage and 1.0 would be 100% damage to that area and so on..
By the way... in DA you are not supposed to shoot boars in the head, iirc I they are the strongest from the front, its like their natural crap because they are charging up front, I remember shooting them to the side makes the fall like flies, esp. with shotgun at very close

Hi.. I tried to find what controls the battery file or drain but didnt find out anything.. About the radius you can change inside xr_actor.script, line:448: torch:torch2_set_radius(60), change the (60) to (95) for a vanilla value or adjust it to your liking.. The 447, one above, controls the range.. vanilla was 12.. thats all that was changed there.. Also the radius I decreased for it to be more realistic.. Theres no headlamp in the world that would light up to 50 meters in such a wide radius of vanilla values

If you want to install my mod as a whole then I would recommend installing it first as it has a lot of files and then I would install those other two, then watch for conflicts, I think dynamic news should be fine, but there might be few conflicts with sound revamp (maybe conflict with my weapon sounds and that one config file it alters as well), cant tell for sure as I didnt try it, always when you merge mods you need to watch for file conflicts, its a good idea to watch some tutorials on how the game modding works,

I have to agree with Liskovaty, and especially 7.62 AKs like AKM or 47 kick like crazy and twice as much if you dont have that barrel muzzle compensating thingie (The thing which is absent on AK barrel shown in addon pic.) Just like IRL even here you are expected to compensate for the recoil kick with pushing your aim downward which works if you dont go crazy with the full auto.. Imo the recoils are pretty well balanced for most weapons considering the actual bullet weights and stuff

Both bars and icons textures are in the same texture file.. I recommend photoshop with nvidia dds plugin, saving in DXT3 creating new mipmaps.. Also if I may say, the bars are as bright as the icons, I dont personally see any problem in that, sorry

I just tried to replicate the issue New vanilla DA unpack + En translation + my All in One option pack included in this version and I dont have any of the mentioned issues.. Hope you ll have fun using my addon to an extent where you dont have this issue.. Also I am not sure now... one sentence you write its map transition icons tweak that does issues, next one you are not sure ? If deleting all texture files from my addon helps, maybe try adding them back one by one possibly knowing for 100% which one does it, or is it the ui_common.dds ? Anyway thanks for you input

I was just looking into this as I wanted to include something similar in my addon.. Looks like just unpacking the itms_manager.script without even editing it screws up the feature you mentioned, and when you edit the itms_manager.script and pack everything back again, it magically works without problems.. Russian programming is really anomalous thing lol

Sorry but I am not sure which config/script handles the base stamina restore value but if you managed to get rid of the weight limit completely, and the only issue is now a stamina drain, I would probably go about it by increasing the boost_power_restore to 9.0 for example, under any drink, for example for [energy_drink], the config is called items_drink.ltx.. At 9.0 your stamina restore should literally go off the charts so it should work.. Also you can edit the "boost_time" for the drink to like 99999 or bigger if too high value wont cause a crash, and by that the drink would last almost if not forever
