This mod is decreasing default recoil level and balancing it.
This my personal modification for Dead Air to make it more realistic and balanced.
This modification covering ALL WEAPONS.
If you shoot weapons like AKM or AK-74 in DA you can see how recoil is. But in real life shooting videos Ak-74 doesnt do recoil as much as Dead Air (As well as other weapons). I tried to balance it. Now weapons has less recoil like real and it's still challenging.
will look at it in near future, thanks
I have to agree with Liskovaty, and especially 7.62 AKs like AKM or 47 kick like crazy and twice as much if you dont have that barrel muzzle compensating thingie (The thing which is absent on AK barrel shown in addon pic.) Just like IRL even here you are expected to compensate for the recoil kick with pushing your aim downward which works if you dont go crazy with the full auto.. Imo the recoils are pretty well balanced for most weapons considering the actual bullet weights and stuff
the guns that should have the most recoil are 12g shotguns cause the largest caliber ive ever shot out of a rifle is a .303 british which is bigger than a .308 or 7.62x51 and i have to say i could probably shoot a bren full auto with reasonable control, where as a 12g feels like someone is trying to push you to the ground
am having a weird bug maybe, when i use this, my stamina bar doesnt deplete, i will get tired after sprinting for a while as if it were going down but visually it doesnt move
havent tested to see if anything else was off, sort of unninstalled it right after to see if it was just that, if i can get it to work id love to use it. i highly agree with you on a guy who is in a zone where firing a gun is as normal as eating food is to us should be able to fire a lot of those weapons with less recoil, especially if my skinny *** can fire some of those rifles he uses with a lot better control than him and i am no soldier or gun nut lol
i fixed the problem
Recoil very low in this addon. I think, if reduce on 30% from original recoil, that is realistic.
