i'm not the bully but a very long standing fan of this mod. i've played all of them and yet this mod is just that update after update after update. 1.82 sucked big time. horrible on all fronts. this so called update is just slight this and slight that just texturing updates to render more exact. yeah the blah will come at me for all the coding to clean up. overall when all is done perhaps more updates will follow. i am critical when all done...it is only a major difference when new races are interjected and brand new paths for research and development and even brand new plots are interjected. yep just my opinion. i can be bashed and trashed here but how else is a mod to be made better?

you assume i am goading you? nope. why not let the newer players have the access to 1.8 so that comparisons can be made? nope. you won't. why not ask eptryon omega for his view on this new tweak to what they did. nope not happening. i shall say this a few things have changed and yet you still use quite a bit of 1.8 overall. thus a copy with updates. whether you like what i say is your opinion but from a gamer's view..this is just updating code and graphics.

the nerve...1.80 is the original. if you as a designer can't see that. your problem. why not let the others have access to 1.8 and let them decide. no. that is why the tweaks are just that. the worst you have done is showing how much of a bully you are. can't handle a critic. i have played all versions of sins and they are wonderful. your is just a wee update. no massive changes. no new directions. when and if you bring the races in, if the ori get involved then i'll follow the rest of the players here. but when you take one version and mimic it by tweaking it and then say because i have no experience is just nuts.. i still say that 1.8 should be played by current players. that way a fair assessment can be made. yet this site has cut that out altogether. just cracks me up the new design crew can't take a critic.

just borrowed my friends access to the new mod here...minor tweaks done to the game. it is mostly a copy and update to the awe inspiring sgi 1.80. sure you threw a few different ships and such into the mix. and yet the majority is still simple to play and such. no massive changes. added lighting and modeling and lights to various ships. and yet if you stand the awe classic 1.80 to this one..you'd have upgrade and tweak only. some cosmetic things etc. and still the major parts go back to 1.80. you may denounce me and knock me to whatever. and yet when i compare both, seeing em play is the deal. hope soon enough you can push the other various races into it.

darn tootin hot...played a few hours so far and really awed by what you guys did. sgi needs to learn from you guys. phase lanes invisible. everything else holy cow and incredible. thank you so much

well u have flight mastered to a degree. what about venturing underwater on alien planets or is that a future expansion?

cant get a saved game to load. keep getting the message of a rebellion and massive mini dumps. then it freezes and stuck. idk what to do next?? i will go back to the older version and wait for finished project.

running your beta. before i get the mini dump, i get a notice of a rebellion and then mini dump mania. i log off and re log back in and any saved game except with one planet owned, the game is frozen and won't budge. if i have one planet, no problem.

now that i have previous saved, the game will not let me back in. freezes up and dumps me out and nothing runs. any ideas?

game saving is painful. get deep in to the games with more than 10 planets owned and keep getting mini dumps. the dumps come in whenever i save by myself. your auto save doesn't work at all. tried coming back to last save and your auto save doesn't save me.

noticed that i may research repair platform but cannot build one

i am extremely heartbroken as to why the most recent posts demand a update to this wonderful game. i play this game so much that i enjoy it over and over again. I've watched these guys create a great and enjoyable mod and now learn these posts demand a timeline. c'mon everyone respect what these guys do and give up their chosen livelihood to modify sins and yet a few make such ludicrous demands. i'd even be respectful to wait another 2-3 years for a update. the other posters on here should respect you the modders and get over it. otherwise may even donate to you modders and you may want to charge for the next update---wait that would be insane and not fair. really the posters recently here need to be patient and get a life. i really respect the mod guys here and so should the rest.

yabba dabba doo...scooby dooby doo...this new update is great...i love playing when there are multiple planets and more. i chose one where i get to check on 149 planets!! a blast. enjoyable cool and MAHVELOUS...can't wait to see the next update and enjoy so much too. wow amazing and that u do is INCREDIBLE!!

been a loyal fan since you've been around. enjoyed when you release and so on. i have all versions of sins and their respective updates. while i await the newest update, i have diplomacy to fall on and enjoy. so to the other individuals, patience is worth the wait. like these gents have said, their life is number one and i respect that. i back these guys up big because they didn't have to do this at all but they wanted to give us not so great modders a different look on sin. try those who did the star trek version of sins and you will see a major difference. i salute the guys who made this mod and i have voted each year for them because they have made a great conversion to the stargate universe with sins....kudos to you guys and take all the time you want because your product is as good as you make it...not like micorsoft when they make stuff they constantly have to keep fixing their stuff..

i've enjoyed this mod from day one. i can wait as long as they want so the game shows up with no errors. these modders are incredible. so please praise them for a great job and be patient. i've learned from this mod to be patient and thus you shall reap the rewards.
