I am an avid game player from back in the days of Doom 1+2 and Duke Nukem 3D, when they were CONTEMPORARY games, not classic relics of dos. I love the interaction of computer games and their music and spend a lot of time making my own music, usually pop+dance stuff where i sing very badly (and links can be provided to prove the point). I also like designing music for games, and aim for an electronic sound style mixed with real instruments on occasion.

This mod has a great concept and good level design, but its crap. Sorry to all the fanboy comments, but its not finished and some areas are just mazes of areas you really dont need to go, i like detail but not when it throws me right off course!

The mod author saw fit to remove auto aiming AND any aiming reticle from this, and basically your main weapon has to hit EXACTLY and sometimes at targets you can't get close to. In such instances i recommend doing what i did, putting godmode on, and running up to said enemies. This seemed only to ever happen with turrets by the way.

Also, teleporting to earth and being locked into a laboratory is not my idea of a good ending, so i dont know what all the other comments here are about, numerous times i had to noclip because of confusing (albeit well made) levels with seven doors only one of which would open, mysteriously. 3/10

Theres some really great level design in this mod, shame it was never finished. Theres no official walkthrough and many of the maps are just mazes filled to the brim with areas you dont need to go to. To end the mod, they just made a base level with no way out of it, which is not my idea of an ending at all! So im sayinhg 3/10 - really good mod, but confusing and unfinished!

Looks good, but has a game-breaking bug... after visiting the mansion in the woods and returning to your car, whatever level change is supposed to go off... doesn't!

Despite the promising nature of the screens on here of the mod, it is basically a couple of obstacle course maps with some text appearing on the screen, level design isn't bad but requires some work, and everything is indoors, and also nothing makes any sense, the premise "wait and see the next episode" does not strike me as good. But who knows?

A very nice looking mod, if a little short! The only drawback i would say is that it all looks terribly Half Life 2 ish... it's still city seventeen, which is a bit boring now, but there are some genious moments of level design though!

Very Abstract. Well, in fact this mod was probably put together in half a day. The levels are all mazes, such things take only 30 minutes to make in hammer, theres almost no texturing... it suits the style but becomes boring quickly. NOT ONLY is every one of the four levels a maze, but you can walk down some paths and just start taking damage for no reason whatsoever. There is no indication of good and bad paths at all.

The story at the top of this page bears no relation at all to what you will play through, unless you're willing to interpret the levels generously to an amount i, as an active member of the creative, written and performing arts scene cannot do. Good luck!

Theres not really much else to talk about here, theres no enemies, weapons or effects, it's very different. I'm not a maze man and maybe thats my problem, but the one thing that DID **** me off is that the only thing in this mod worth giving a damn about is the music in the background, which was made by third parties and has been used here i assume without the permission of any of them, so ironically, the only thing in this mod i actually liked, was not something the author him/herself made, but something they nicked and added in.

Ok i liked the beginning of this mod... the island on the surface was sort of spooky, and desolate. It seemed to have a unique and rather abstract style, and the music wasn't too bad too.

But then later levels came in, and it was just randomly constructed room after randomly constructed room. And some of them looked quite good and detailed.

But then the Happy Hardcore music kicked in and i felt like crying, the mod had gone severely downhill, and the ending was a total comedown... "you're a great man" and a two sentence line talking about how it is a great tomorrow or something really hit me. Not in a good way.

If there was a story to this is was lost on me, i think it was meant to be exposed through the voice acting, but the quality of your speakers recordings was quite poor i'm afraid. Not their personal faults... post production was begged for and ignored. If you do a similar project in future, i will happily voice and perhaps even post-production recordings for you for free!

Although i did like the colourful style of the game, the disparity of each area, and a system of teleports where you always have no idea where you're going (and i dont consider teleports an excuse for having drastically contrasting areas right next to each other either) made me feel the mod to have been made by multiple people under the very prosiac guidelines of "make it look abstract".

It was good for a while, but the combat intensifies to rediculous amounts, and for what reason? to fill a corridor? After the 20th time of a wall moving aside to reveal bad guys, i'm less than suprised... i'm bored.

Just throwing that out there, as in part... i really enjoyed playing this.

cant get out of the VERY FIRST area you teleport to, picked up the gravity gun but you cant climb the wall and the gravity gun doesn't break the fence. FUBAR MOD!

Oh yeah, i'm sure you've already heard this, but i actually wandered out of the map a few times, there may be fences but fences can be climbed over! Also, the voice was too quiet whilst music swelled sometimes too

Never mind figured it out. You need to sort out the torch to come on at the mouth of the cave, it's completely unfair that it comes on inside any other building whether its dark or not but stays off when you enter the cave. Especially as you have the voice going "come back" when you get a little way into it.

Although theres a great atmosphere to this mod and it's chilled out. The plot, if there is one doesn't make sense. You wander around a deserted island seeing unexplained cave drawings and writing on cliffs, whilst a guy talks about driving on the motorway and breaking his leg? Maybe its abstract stuff, but its not very good if it simply doesnt make sense.

wow a Secret of Mana mod, damn that game ruled! Just checked out ur new screenshots and they rock, that 1 on the left is a model of one of them "chobins" right?
