Is it possible that this update doesn't work on an old version of the game? I have version of the game before the CA update, I replaced the sound.pack file in data folder but the musket sounds are still vanilla.

Please someone who plays the current version of the mod tell me if the musket shots are shown with those weird flashes like seen in many videos because in other videos the shots are relatively normal...smoke, sparks etc.

The scripts that control naval gameplay start working after the first turn so in the very first turn of the campaign you might find available for recruitment of all of your faction's ships (even the post 1790' ones). If you start building some of those the construction will stop the next turn anyway, but also ship recruiting prices are somewhat bugged the first turn so instead of paying too much or too less extra money, just pass the turn. Land gameplay also needs this turn to work so use it only for diplomacy.

Ok,

when I look at discord now, I see point #1 in the instructions, which was certainly not in the instructions I followed yesterday (instructions from the main ETWII V4.0 file). It certainly wasn't there.

"sprites remover issue"

For some reason it doesn't work for me and here's my idea why it might be:

Did you accidentally miss the LODs.pack file? Only ETW - SK.exe is part of your discord rar file, but when i visited the link:
Twcenter.net(sprites-remover)

there is also talk about the LODs.pack file, which should be placed in the data folder, and which is part of the rar file for download there, but not in your discord
download, and in your instructions the LODs.pack file is completely missed.

The last CA update cause the remastered darthmod sounds not work and the in-game sounds are just vanilla, and because the update supposedly changed the vanilla sounds a little, it already sounds a little better than before, but they are not darthmod sounds! you need to download older versions of the game before the patch, then install DMN, and remastered sounds should work.

Do i understand correctly that unit replenishment is disabled (by default) in this mode? and do I have to merge units of the same type by dragging one on the other?

if so, that's a great idea that I've been calling for for a long time.

I want to ask, if I rely on replenishment, does the unit lose experience (chevrons)?

If I merge two units, one of them is veterans, the other is fresh recruits, then i lose experience, of course, but what about replenishment?

I hope this feature also reduces the unit experiences.

For all who have any problem with Darthmod after the new update from CA, remastered DM sounds not work for example.

I reverted the game to older version, before patch, and DM working right again, i can hearing remastered sounds again!

My experience from yesterday, yeah, it seems Darthmod works, but...the DM sounds definitely don't work, mod now runs with vanilla sounds.

back in the vanilla game, academy meant being educated, and being educated meant not being a sheep. The malus was already presented in vanilla as a "call for reform"

You are not alone. I also noticed this change of units, my cavalry changed to artillery, and then another change, I don't remember specifically, but it happened. (play without VDM).

Do you noticed the artillery movement speed? Foot artillery. You have to switch movement speed to run, to move at the same speed as the rest of the army. This is very unfortunate, and annoying.

Prussian campaign, year 1717, no VDM, as I wrote below, I have a CTD while loading battles, but..only battles against Sweden it seems, and only battles on eastern front, in the territory of poland lithuania, kurland, last try to battle was near St.peterburg (with a newly recruited army and a new general). I thought the CTD was tied to a specific general or unit recruited in Warsaw, but no.

Battle of Copenhagen, held by the Swedes did not cause any CTD.

If I avoid these battles in the east and northeast, or use autoresolve, I can continue the campaign and the game works fine until I try to start the battle on the Eastern Front again. (as I mentioned above)

Please solve the unstability of the mod, the mode is great, but thanks to CTD it is not playable, not without frustration and constant restart of campaigns.

the same thing happened to me yesterday, and the difference was that I tried to attack the Swedish army in Lithuania. the game crashed while loading the battle. I tried to attack another army nearby, game crashed. I tried to attack the city nearby, game crashed. always when loading a battle. I tried to attack Copenhagen, held by the Swedes, no problem, I tried to attack Austria, no problem, tried attack to Bavaria, no problem.

as for the cannon, I have a problem with moving ridiculously slow, I have to think about manually switching the cannons to run, when moving the army
