this is the updated version of General andys musket sounds, after the update in May 2023, breaking all sound mods, To install, drag and drop the sound.pack from the provided file folder into your Napoleon Total War data folder, then click replace files in this destination, Install path -- > Steam > steamapps > common > Napoleon Total war > data

Is it possible that this update doesn't work on an old version of the game? I have version of the game before the CA update, I replaced the sound.pack file in data folder but the musket sounds are still vanilla.
THIS specific mod that I made only works on the new version of the update that CA did, and since with the new update the ingame files with the sfx were changed for the musket sounds to only work on the new sfx file, the new sfx file is the one that I changed. So if you have an older version of the game, then you should use the original version of this musket mod, used for the older version of the game, ill provide the link

Why is it 3gb ?
It's a copy of the entire Sound.pack file which is already located in the game files, but with altered sound effects for muskets. This is why you're prompted to replace the existing file.
