Well technically, its a turboprop which is effectively a gas turbine with a conventional propeller attached to the front. So the plane derives its thrust from the blades of the propeller rather than the reaction produced by the hot exhaust gasses of a pure turbojet. This has several advantages such as more efficient low altitude flying, lower stall speeds and in the right conditions, better fuel consumption overall.

I have to agree with Talhydras on this one. I like the new imroved version of the Crusader. Very stylish, very futuristic. The hover mode ruins it for me if im honest. It destroys the realism. I know it's only a game, but half the fun is imagining that you are a part of the battle, and if the units aren't believable, then that element of fantasy is lost somewhat. It's an unneccessary feature anyway. Getting rid of all-terrain abilities would mean that players would be encouraged to use versatile aircraft such as the Osprey and the Helix to their advantage. This is just my opinion, I'd like to know whether anyone else shares that opinion or not. I don't mean to sound picky :/

I love the texture and the detail, especially on the cannons. I think you've done a fantastic job. I think what you've done with the camo, on all ECA units has just hit the spot magnificently. But... It looks a bit stumpy and imbalanced. It lacks that bit of imagination which makes a tank look aggressive and menacing. I'd really like it if the ECA had a BIG tank of their own which was a match for the style and quality of the Overlord or the Sentinel. I might be wrong since the picture doesn't give us a great idea of scale size, but it could do with being a bit bigger. Not as large as the big dogs, like the Overlord and the Sentinel, but a bit bigger than a Paladin would be a healthy size. The cannons on the turret are superb, they're unique and stylish. the one letdown is, that the turret doesn't move, which makes the tank seem a bit primative. To fix the 'stumpy' look, I reccomend moving the turret back slightly, maybe make the tracks a bit wider and longer at the same time (make them look a bit more futuristic) I think that would make it look extremely cool. Seriously though, great work, I love the ideas and concepts. As a C&C fan, I'd like to say thank you for all the effort and making a fantastic game even better. I hope I havn't come across as too critical. Cheers!
