Really awesome combat (I don't think I've seen another game do this sort of thing)
One tiny issue though; the tossing animation seems a bit too slow (or just not vicious enough) IMO.
To me it just seems more like a push than a slam.
But everything else (even the HUD) is brilliant.
Brilliant, but do you think you could speed up the button press/"use" animation? right now it seems like the button is activated an instant before the hand is fully extended.
Other than that, the entire demo was better than I imagined it would be.
Doesn't matter, had sex
I like the animation system but, personally, I found the camera animations a bit disorienting.
Is there any way you could make the animation move without moving the camera? Or at least make the camera move a bit more smoothly?
Obi-"only sith deal in absolutes"
Vader-"Isn't that statement an absolute though?"
Actually, Windows 8 has a much easier installation than W7.
And seriously, it's $40 and not as bad as most people think (as long as you're an advanced user).
Yes, but South Korea has more swag.
"Well, we have a good movie"
Because the geocentric theory is ridiculous and the sun sets, relatively.
I can just imagine.
The Last Samurai remade in the 21st century.
That may be due to the source engine's lighting engine. A dark room with the flashlight on might not look the best.
Ah, this must be at Aperture labs.
It all makes total sense.
With a stomach like mine it would almost be a necessity.
This would probably be half decent if it was a gif but as of now it's kind of lame.
I don't know. I feel like it would look better if it lazer sight or a flashlight under the barrel or anything else that could just fill that space. It just seems so empty to me.
They're legally required because of Godwin's law.
Reminded me of this:
I love it. My only concern is the brick directly hitting the roof. I feel that it would look better if there was a small trim there. But that's just my opinion.
The reveal is even better with a crap internet connection!
At least we know it's not dead.
"they need to get back to their roots in making games that push the standards of today & tomorrow, games that were truly fun."
I agree, this is exactly why Valve is taking this much time to make HL3. They want it to be revolutionary.
Too many chromosomes...
Many of them just seem too derivative from current generation weapons. IMO you might want to try moving the magazines around to more unconventional positions and try to make each gun have it's own sort of theme to it. I get that this is a game set in a universe that has been decimated by a plague but I myself am just a fan of very unique weaponry.
The worst is when your friend makes cookies and asks if you want one. It tastes terrible but you don't want to be a tool and make your friend feel bad.
Looks nice overall but I feel like the lightss are clashing with the fire.
Yep, that about sums it up.
The recoil seems a little much but then again I'm no gun expert
Actually no, having elections is a characteristic of a republic not a democracy.
