I came on here after a while of no activity, and thought 'oh nothing's changed, they may as well give up'. Then realized that is playing exactly into WB's hands.

WB want this process to be as long and hard as possible, because they believe the longer it takes, the closer everyone will come to losing interest, giving up, and becoming distracted by other things.

Don't let that happen, keep the pressure up consistently, don't let up and don't let them off the hook, fight this constantly, even if it begins to ware.

We can't let them get away with this disgusting behavior.

It's ******* pathetic that Warner Brothers would behave like this. They clearly are concerned this may take money away from whatever rushed, poorly put together cash cow of a game they will release to tie in with The Hobbit.

As much as I would love to urge the modder's to press on regardless, it's much easier to say that from a position where I'm not being threatened with Legal action.

If you do decide to abandon the project, it would be unfortunate but completely understandable.

I too have mixed emotions, but i think in the end it will benifit the mod. Lets hope Skyrim more readily supports multiple NPCs at once so we can get some epic battles ;)

It's not fair that Moddb were being blamed for the game instead of the rightful creaters, I understand them for shutting it down. I've had to close things down not because I had to cave into my own principals, but because of the harm it was doing to others around me. If people are too short sighted to see that, then that's their problem.

Revolutionise RPGs? really? It looks very entertaining and I'll be sure to buy it, but doesn't really look to be doing anything new. I personally think the current benchmark in RPGs is the Mass Effect series.

And MERP of course ;)

I depends what game I am playing, when playing an 'open' game I often get more frustrated at its limitations, where as when playing something liniar I just accept its limitations and enjoy the game.
