From a modder to another modder...
What you have accomplished is beyond what an usual team could do, a milestone in modding creation. You have achieved so much, with hard work and dedication.
Now it's time maybe for another direction. I'm confident that you will find your way.
Listen the comments but don't pay too much attention to them, people will ALWAYS want more and will be picky...All that matter is this. If your work is making you and the team pleasure, go on, no matter what.
From someone who suffered all the ups and downs from another community... don't give up, work at your pace and maybe one day your team will amaze us, gamers and moders, with another HIT ! God bless you and good luck !

After you installed STCoP without the Config and Scripts folders go back to Beta Patch. inside you will see 2 folders - Vanilla and Addons.
Inside Addons folder you will see several other folders ( AO3, OWR 3, StCop).
Open the STCoP folder and copy the gamedata folder OVER the existing gamedata folder from Call of Chernobyl install location.
Overwrite when asked.

I'm returning with a new comment regarding BP...
The new version solved an annoying problem ( CTD when approaching the Duty officer from the entrance to Rostock) but overall the Beta Patch ( at least for me) created a degradation in game play.

First of all, the loading time.
The initial loading time is huge compared to vanilla and this great increase in loading time it could be feel also in levels loading.

The shuttering is also increased compared to vanilla, at some points it's almost unplayable ( repeat , this is compared to vanilla, at the same settings).

Not so disturbing, but in some moments (or areas?) the fog is the worst enemy, you could barely see a few meters away.

I DO appreciate the effort and time and patience invested in this huge endeavour, so don't get me wrong, but I suggest to collect first as many possible bugs and release a final and stable version when you are ready.
I will eagerly await to the final product of such enthusiasts moders.

Hi Simon

It's not clear for who is the message but I will try to clarify the procedure, it's quite simple:

1. Install CoC in his own folder ( like E:\Games\Call of Chernobyl, but NOT in the Program Files), wait for the install to finish, it will update some C++ runtimes and DirectX, it should not take much time.
2. From inside the COC folder locate the CoCdater.exe and run the program, it will update himself and after that it will update CoC to the latest version.
3. Backup your _bin folder AND your gamedata folder in a safe place
4. Overwrite with the files provided by Beta Patch, located in Vanilla folder.
5. Install STCoP, overwriting the existing files when asked, but WITHOUT the CONFIG and SCRIPTS folders.
6. Copy from Beta Patch folder, from Addons folder the files from STCoP folder, overwriting when asked.

Tnx for the quick reply but...

CoC IS in a separate install folder.
I installed since the first version, updated regularly since and worked every time smooth.
Since STCoP, i use both ( CoC and STCoP) and they work flawless.

I don't say is not working, I'm saying that I have the same constant CTD, at the same spot, every time.
Anyway, I might do some digging to merge Beta with the installment .

Had someone problems with "Unhandled exception" crash?
Because EVERY time I reach Rostock and approach the Duty officer who stands with the bunch of Dutyers, right after the trench, I got this nasty CTD.

Also I noticed a heavy increase in shuttering and some weird problems with the ambient light, meaning all is too bright, even with controls reduced and also with the fog.

I'ts a fresh install of CoP, fresh updated CoC and the latest version of STCoP.
I use Dx11 with preset high, same settings with one without Beta patch had a smooth gameplay.
I would be grateful if someone could advise, I'm tired of starting again and again CoC.

I'm glad you are one of those who loved our work, since I was working with the regretted Firelady since Episode 2. I enlarged the Episode 3 Demo to a full scale mod and I strongly suggest you to play it... it will rock your FO 3 world... Cheers!

A solid and stable weapons mod.
Weapons much more closer to the real counterparts than AO, at least for me.
Basically they have almost the same weapons, but somehow STCop "sound" more real than AO in terms of sound, recoil and weapons damage.
Still... it have some weird hiccups, like the "special"scopes, namely the ACOG D, the ACOG RF, the ACOG N and the russian counterparts, scopes who could be found at traders but... they don't fit to any weapon and they are damn expensive!
Also some weapons have the ltx file messed up, like the M16A2, who cannot accommodate any scope!
A little bit more attention to details could make STCoP the best weapons mod for CoC.

Tnx for your effort to give us such awesome weapons models to play with!

The only enemy of "good"is... "better".
Weapons .ltx forgotten, config messed up, completely ruined even a fresh reinstall of the CoC, from the beginning.
First start of the 1.3.09 version of Coc vent fine but after installing the new AO all vent down, CoC don't even load.
Tnx for 3 hours of my life lost.

Usually I don't respond to guests, but why you assume that's a bug the loss of control when the Vertibird land, in front of Outpost 23 ?... and in some other key points of the story?
It was necessary to suspend temporarily the player control at some points because a lot of people was doing all kind of crazy things during those cut scenes, interrupting the running scripts.
So it's not a bug, it is how it's supposed to work.
Most certainly you have used some console commands during the Vertibird landing.

To use the full functions of the armors and the addons, you MUST have FOSE installed, preferable the latest version.
About the AI problem, it might be the game engine itself to blame, since the custom creatures use just variations of the original AI, mainly modified are the perception range and attack reach.
You could try to modify the load order or to create a merged patch.

Usually, those are the problems... archive invalidation not activated, improper files locations, improper load order.
This mod was fully functional even from ALPHA stage, so most of the problems are really "user" related.
Again, glad you make it, many surprises wait you ahead.

Hi Wes

Usually this happens when the game cannot find the textures.
You should have in Fallout 3 folder a structure like this:

Data\ Textures\aqfh3\...
In the aqfh3 textures folder, scopes are located under weapons folder.
Maybe this is useful to you to solve the problem.

First of all, I'm glad you enjoyed the AQFH adventure.
It was designed this way, to be a memorable adventure in the lore of FO3.

About Nightfall, it;s really to early to approximate an ETA, the team is small and we are working in the spare time we have.
The most optimistic first look could be situated somewhere at the mid of the next year, if all goes well.

Don't be to surprise if AQFH will rise again in FO4... in a different way, time will tell us.

In the light of the last events on the "community" scene, I canceled the production of any further mods for ANY Bethesda related games.
I'm working currently with Unreal 4 game engine to a ... game.
WIP name... A Quest for Heaven - Nightfall.

LOL... it was let in purpose there, as a final easter egg for the explorers, at some point I was almost to add a perk for discovering THAT
as a "reward".
Anyway... use it with caution, it was a testing ground for many things and the ghost of that things could still haunt that place.
Enjoy the adventure and keep an eye in the future for a game named maybe... A Quest for Heaven - Nightfall

Sorry to hear that
AQFH 3 was created with the English version... nothing to do if FOSE don't support Polish version.
FOSE is used especially to the armors scripts... if you are comfortable enough with the GECK, you could remove the armors scripts but you will loose all the goodies of the armors.

You should already have the AM power cell... Darvari reminded you not to forget to take THAT power cell, right after you finished the battle for the Shuttle Station.
So... if you don't have the AM power cell, you should load an early save, after you returned from the Shuttle station with the Vertibird.

This is happening when admins are people with only vengeance and lust for power in mind...
BTW... what happened with the model of your AM gun? You wanna still use him?... because I really need a model for a new weapon, PPC, the Particle Projector Cannon.
