Out of curiosity, what ship are you talking about? The only reference I could find on Wookieepedia to a type of Star Destroyer called "Legacy" was a single ship (not a class) designed by KDY, and the only this it says is that it had "experimental weapons," without saying what those weapons might have been, so I'm guessing that's not the ship you're talking about.

Edit; There are a few others, but only 3 of them existed during the Clone Wars. Of those, 2 weren't even capital ships (one belonged to Jango Fett, the other to a Jedi called Darrus Jeht), and the third was an Acclamator called Sea Legacy. So, I'm really not sure what ship you're talking about.

Before I start, I won't be able to help; I'm just here to suggest that people might be more willing to help if you actually describe the problem, rather than just telling people that you have one.

Calm down, no-one is forcing you to use this mod.

Also, let's not start another comment with "calm down."

According to the Wikipedia article on the battle, the coalition forces were in 4 ranks. However, according to another source (https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/wellington-and-waterloo/0/steps/24850), there is a large amount of dispute over the cause of the British army's success; some people claim that it was what you said (2/3 ranks firing continuously), while other sources suggest what I always believed (wait for the enemy to approach, fire a volley, and then finish them with a bayonet charge).

My own understanding of the era (admittedly based primarily on ETW and NTW) suggests that the most common infantry formation (and the one I use in both games) is 3 ranks (mostly because that was the deepest formation that allowed an entire regiment to use ETW's version of FBR).

"•Ambient Features: Players will notice the maps and levels are no longer devoid of life. They now teem with life. Droid, Speeders, Air-Speeders, Cargo Freighters, Animals, Fauna, hover trains, etc. The team has added in over 150 of these items that will move about their daily lives as you wage battle on land or on space."

"•Civilian Casualties: These so called "citizens" that wander around can indeed get in the way of your battle plans. Sometimes in war accidents happen. Its called "collateral damage" well in RaW there is a price, literally. If you kill innocent civilians either on purpose or accident you will have to pay reparations for each person killed."

This may be a crazy thought, but maybe the civilians would look at the second thing and think "hey, maybe we shouldn't do the first thing?"

Just sayin'.

Definitely looking forward to seeing this. Personally I've always preferred pre-GCW Star Wars (Clone Wars and Old Republic in particular) (Que hate mail), but the only mods we have (that I know of) for those eras are ORAW (which only has one person working on it, and he's working on another mod at the same time) and RAW (which, while not bad, is still unfinished and has serious balance issues), so I'm interested to see a fresh take on what, honestly, is my favourite era of the Star Wars universe (more hate!).

You don't need to use the shortcut anyway; just set up the modpath and you can run the mod directly through Steam.

If you don't know how to set up the modpath:
1: Right-click the game in your library.
2: Click "Properties."
3: Click "Set Launch Options."
4: Type in "swfoc MODPATH=Mods\EAW-Re" (Without quotation marks)
5: Click "OK."
6: Start the game as you normally would (without the mod).

I personally am very definitely on the side of Wars, but they did have a bit of an advantage in this scenario. I mean, take a look at the 2 sides. Wars has, what 15 Star Destroyers, while Trek has maybe half a dozen Capital ships, max? (I saw 3 Galaxies and 2 Nebulas, but even if I missed some, there can't have been more than 10), plus a few dozen smaller escorts like Akiras and Excelsiors. I'm sure that even the most hardcore trekkie would admit that an outdated ship like Excelsior wouldn't stand a chance against an Imperial-Class.

If half of your argument is based on EA's Battlefront, you should just not say anything.

When you're installing the mod, you need to tell the wizard that FOC is installed in the corruption folder. Otherwise, it just tries to install directly in the EAW folder (because that's where FOC is on the disc version).

There's a fix for that. It's a problem with EAW in general, not just RAW. I'm afraid I don't have the link to the fix, though.

Oh, and if you scroll down a bit, you'll find someone asking the exact same question, to which I gave the exact same answer.

I seem to have managed to solve the problem on my own. The issue seems to have been that I wasn't using ModManager, so the modpacks hadn't been activated.

I can't seem to get the mod to work. I followed the instructions in the readme, and the launcher seems to work fine. However, it seems like only parts of the mod have taken effect. The menu backgrounds etc have all been changed to the WW1 versions from the mod, but I can't start a campaign at all (it crashes on the loading screen). I can get into the "play battle" mode, and the unit tooltips do seem to have been changed to the mod versions, but when I start the battle (which launches and runs fine, apart from the problems I'm describing here), all of the units themselves appear to be vanilla. Additionally, I think all the maps available in play battle mode are still the vanilla ones (I'm not sure, but Trafalgar still appears, as do a few others that I recognise from the vanilla game).

This was an install on a clean version of the game, as available from Steam.I even reinstalled the entire game, deleting all my old mods in the process, so this is definitely the only mod I had installed (I didn't delete my old saves or settings, but I didn't think they'd affect the mod this badly, given that I'm not using the saves. let me know if I should try deleting my old saves or settings (and where to find them, please)).

Also, when it crashes on the campaign loading screen, it creates a "log.txt" file in the Steam\steamapps\common\Napoleon Total War\data\The Great War folder. I'll post the contents below, but they're quite long, so it may take multiple posts.

No, it isn't, it's in intensive care being fed through a tube into the stomach, but the doctors are confident that it will make a full recovery.

Has this analogy gone too far?

Maybe if you gave a few more details, people might be able to diagnose your problem. For example, does it crash randomly, or only when a certain event occurs (like starting a battle)? Does it just freeze, or does it bring up an error message, and if so, what does it say? That sort of thing.
