When you install the mod using the installer, it messes a lot of stuff up because it is an ancient mod. For instance, those blue boxes are part of a HUD "upgrade" that automatically came with older versions of the 1.3 patch. Instead of using the installer, you need to manually install the mod. I made the following guide for a friend, but it may help you too. Uninstall BFII, then reinstall and verify files, resetting your BFII to vanilla BFII. Reinstall the latest version of the 1.3 patch (r130), then follow the guide below:

Install is a pain on this one. Don’t let it install for you, you must manually install.
1. Using the Conversion Pack 2.0 Installer, install the files to a random/temporary folder (not your actual Battlefront II folder). It should deliver you a GameData folder containing five folders: addon, backups, Conversion Pack documentation, DATA, and v1.3patch.
2. Copy the addon and DATA folders into Battlefront II’s GameData folder.
Do NOT copy the other folders over. The backups folder is for uninstallation (to fix the normal game files that the Conversion Pack overwrites. Please note, however, that this may be an older version of these files. You may need to consult a newer source to get the backup .lvl files for the newest version of Battlefront II). The Conversion Pack documentation folder is merely for your reference. Finally, the v1.3patch installs an OLDER version of the 1.3 patch, so do not use it. The current patch is v1.3r130 which is compatible with the Steam update that restored multiplayer servers. The patch included here is r83. Old.
3. Using the 2.2 Patch Installer, install the files to a random folder (not your actual Battlefront II folder). It should deliver you a GameData folder containing three folders: addon, ConPack2.2PatchChanges, and DATA.
4. Go into addon and delete the AAA-v1.3patch folder. The Conversion Pack 2.2 patch comes with r117 and you should already have the r130 update installed.
5. Go into the DATA folder, then the _LVL_PC folder. Delete the 4 .lvl files (but not the SIDE folder). According to a moddb commenter, these four .lvl files interfere with online multiplayer on the current Steam version of Battlefront II.
6. Copy the addon and DATA folders (after deleting the AAA-v1.3patch folder and the four nasty .lvl files) into Battlefront II’s GameData folder. You should be able to run version 2.2 of the Conversion Pack now!
KotOR GC Installation:
1. Run the installer (somewhere random, not in Battlefront II). You should end up with a KotORGC folder.
2. By default, installing the GC mod will give you the Jedi Civil War GC (allowing you to play as the Old Republic). The KotORGC folder contains a readme on how to change this to the Advent of the Sith (Sith Empire) GC if you like.
3. After choosing whether you want to install the Jedi Civil War or Advent of the Sith GC, copy and paste the contents of the GameData folder into Battlefront II’s GameData folder. Now you should be able to play Galactic Conquest in the KotOR era!

Perhaps the single greatest mod map of all time. A classic.

Idk how ModDB feels about external links so I won't post it, but according to BattlefrontJDGamer's video on this mod, it was made by his friend zapattack1234 (whose current YouTube channel is Steve the Vlogger)

Hello! Do you still have v1.0 of this mod saved anywhere? I seem to recall that's the version I had on my old computer years ago and I'm curious to see how it stacks up against version 2.0. The battles on 2.0 seem to be very long (and some of the CPs can't be captured, meaning you have to kill every CPU) whereas I remember the original mod having much shorter battles. I downloaded the Alpha version, but that too seems like a different version because it doesn't have starfighter gameplay.

On that note, I just wanna say great job on the capital ships! Everyone has already mentioned how cool the accurate Star Destroyers are, but I also love the Banking Clan frigate with an actual hangar!

I tried out A New Frontier a few months ago, and man is it a blast! This mod still holds a very special place in my heart though.

Something about this map is surprisingly entertaining! It's essentially a reskin of Rhen Var: Citadel, but the atmosphere of Mustafar and the darkness of the map make it feel unique. Hero Assault looks incredible with the bright lightsabers against the dark background, and Hunt mode (Empire vs CIS) is a nice throwback to the BFII campaign! Overall, great job!

Good luck! Modding seems like a pain but we would all love some new TLJ content!

Seconded. It's definitely not necessary, but it would be a major bonus.

Have you been able to run other mods? If not, this might help. When I first started using mods I ran into trouble at first because my addon folder was in the wrong location. If you have BFII on Steam, it should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\addon. Hope this helps!

I've been lurking on Mod DB for nearly a year and have download countless BFII mods in that time. I just have to say, this is probably my favorite mod ever and one of the only ones besides a few mod maps that I always have in my addon folder. Maybe the mod could be balanced better or TLJ content could be added, but above all that, thanks for creating such an awesome mod. Here's to the future!
