Playing The Long Dark at the moment, but noticed the release and checked it out. Looks snazzy as. menus are pretty smooth (I noticed that the mail ui defaults with the X off screen - confused me for a sec on how to close it. Also it could be clearer the difference between unread email/mission). Looks awesome as. Didn't notice any bugs in my limited tested. I'll give it a real run once I finish freezing to death.

Super psyc'd that I randomly installed again yesterday. Immediately went looking for all my old skins and mods - found this. Looking forward too it.

I think he means coop, as in cooperative, not CoP, Call of Pripyat. I gotta say, as a long time follower I was looking for ways to a more 'coop' orientated style of play, rather then a DayZ style free-for-all.

So how's the game play work for this then? From what I can gather it will basically be DayZ, except Stalker?

Its a 4 or so year project. Don't need updates every month - once every 6 months would be fine. In a multiyear project, a lot of time can go by without visible advancement, even tho there might have been mountains behind the scenes.

Also, very mature with the misreading of a name, even tho its typed - top one, comedy gold there. I'm sure if I put a half second into it I could come up with something like, of wait, bull the ****, there ya go. A completely unfunny, and childish bastardization of ya name.

they didnt go bankrupt. it was an internal desicion to put the project on hold because the developers had conflict on which way game should go.. Ive got a screen cap of a conversation I had with one of the developers about it if you'd like to see it.

DAmn. I was so disipointed when I noticed that it was no longer in it, it would have suited my game play so well.. (note: this was a while ago, only got around to asking). Can I ask what went wrong with it?

One thing that I noticed from long ago, and almost forgot. At one time a 'team cloak' (Most units get a cloaking ability, or was it no icons on the map...) was part of the Urban doc tree. What ended up happeneing with that?

Like I said I wasnt complaining. But now that you mention it, I hadnt noticed the animations involved. :P But agreed. I only see the base buildings at the start, while my tanks fill my screen for the rest of the game.

But still, are there any plans to try later on?

Not complaining, but wondering the reason for the Base buildings being reskins? Any plans for that to change in after release patches?

So do I have a Hero limit? Or does it then just become a unit that i can build?

With the Partisans, can they just boobytrap points? or can they also rig buildings like the PE?

Ah thanks for answering the Q on the conscripts. I was basing my question off the closing scene of the new video, where you can see 60+(?) of what I am assuming are conscripts charging what I am assuming is the Reichstag. It just seemed like so many men...

A question about the conscripts... Since there pop cap is 0 doesnt that mean i would be able to get a unlimited amount of them?

As cool as that sounds (images of red wave washing over enemy's base) couldnt it get a little out of hand once the game got going?

I dont get why people cant get that its going to be rare as hell, if ever, that you have 6 or 7 units all firing on 1 unit which isnt firing back.... :S...
