So I am curious.. Why do the LAAT's not fit inside the of Venator and other captical class ships.. but small Cruisers can, I had a few small cruisers loaded on a ship but cant get any LAAT Gunships to land on ships, LAAT's are not that big to my knowledge and they were carried in the Venator and Acclamator Ships

Also Whats with the Fleet Command - Invade Sector, Firstly, If your already in the sector, the ship your in seems to jump to the opposite side of the sector and then just sits there as its fleet jumps into you.. Dead. 2nd if you move right after jumping and re-do the command.. even tho you only moved a few hundred meters it will again jump to the same gate it came through and right into the fleet that just came through and didnt move... Is the command broken or what am I doing wrong lol

Love the mod, but needs some improvements. Very Much dislike the new German Uniform Skins... especially since the Desert style skin in this mod officially sucks.. One thing I enjoyed about the main was the nice tan uniforms for desert maps. Soilders are not suppose to stand out like sore thumbs in such places. Also I really really like the scripts for the planes - paradropping out instead of the silly teleporting to ground.. only I noticed when they get shot down.. only 1 plane type the P-40 will actually show the pilot bailing out... all other planes either crash and kill the crew (odd few survive) Or u can see the green dot appear on map but no parashoot/character until after they already hit the ground. P-40 is only one u can see use parashoot when bailing out. Troop planes work tho.

Would be great if you could fix that and add in the PROPER desert skins from the original game.. full tan outfits pls

Fell unless you've taken the time to actually read every single line of code in every single folder for both down loads this is a pretty silly conclusion to come to. I am sure it is there for a reason. Fixes/adds/missing info etc. The files aren't even the same size, they might contain a lot of the same folders/files but its the code inside that counts.

Hmm,Well the only reason it would crash is because A. you have installed it incorrectly, or B. you do not have the required mods active.
Otherwise it should work fine.

As far as I know everyone else has had no issues loading it. Please check that you have placed this file inside your local assault squad resource map folder and that you have GAW mod active when loading.

If issue persists, please provide me with the error code you are receiving if any.

Or if you do not have enough RAM, This map specifically requires a Min of 8GB to run and 10GB+ if you want to have more action as this map is very detailed and very extensive with over 12,000 objects.

I apologize for the negativity, it is often hard to tell what one is trying to say from reading, can't see expressions and tones etc. Im not by any means annoyed with you haha.

How ever, still it seems to not work, I thought I had it but not quite. Perhaps a better way to ask is, I am currently playing as Wesex, I would like to increase unit sizes from 40,48,60 for infantry/archers to 90, and from 24 for cavalry to 65 across the board. (I know this may unbalance fighting, that is okay for my single personal use only if you would permit, which/what do I need to change? I have been going into units_desc and just changing anything my faction (Wesex) is permitted to use. I have done this for every mod I have without issue howver when I do it here, the game will load the starting load screen but doesn't stay open for more then 30 seconds before closing without an error message but if I replace the unit's desc file with original it will run again. Not sure why I am running into this here any ideas?

Thank you very much for this answer, This now explains my problem. I was using Pegan normans haha. It works as far as I know but to what point not sure. I will do a fresh install and then try the edits it should then work if I use the executable.bat file u mentioned instead. I never like to change the mod much as I realize alot of work goes into these and for someone to change it can be well many things. I only do so after completing the original and only after making copies/backups. Mainly just to increase battle sizes.

Im sorry but are you not the creator of this mod? Did you not write the scripts for what this mod does or does not do? If so to say its the mod and not you is like saying A game has life like characteristics. Or for extreme example shooting the gun that kills someone and saying well it wasn't me who killed him it was the gun.. One must take responsibility for their work is all I am saying. Regardless this past the point of interest. Thanks anyway.

PS. you would be the first and foremost only person I have met who would not be willing to help improve someone game play if that is the case. Personally I think it has something to do with the extra files you have in your mod the .BAK files, like backups, preventing any changes from occuring.. Ive never seen these files in a mod for this game before, EVER. But maybe Im mistaken. And they are different file sizes aswell.

Ok I could pull off soo much being wrong with what you just said. No I do not fail at modifying the game, its you who has failed to create a proper modification because if you read correctly I said i have much experience with editing files. All I was trying to do was increase unit size say 48 was a number for certain troop limits allow u to go up to 95 to my knowledge and every and all other mods, (I have dozens) are the exact same and have had ZERO issues modifying this.

The fact you did not do this yourself is pretty sad, and u should be exstatic that someone enjoys the mod and wants to changing it slightly for better game play. Now if your computer can't handle those numbers again that is YOUR FAULT.

How dare you attack a fan whose trying to figure something out just because YOU do not agree with it. You should not of created a mod for public use if this is how you will react/treat people when they come with a problem so no, I blame u because it is ur fault and ur mod especailly if you've created the mod in such a way different from that of every other mod, third age, game of thrones, warhammer, all these work just fine with the changes I wish to make, I can change much with no problems, but the second I change 1 number for the troops in yours it stops working, whether this is because of your excutable files, ive noticed a lot of files have copies like units desc there is a copy.. and on top of the there is a txt.bak which is slightly larger then both original and copy of units desc and I can say in my 5 years of modifying this game AGAIN MANY mods.. this is the only one ive ever seen such files before and infact the only mod that has ever given an issue for a simple increase. I have done nothing wrong that I havent done in any other mod without it not working.

My user account control has nothing to do with it because like ive repeated many times Ive DONE THIS BEFORE! Why would it cause an issue with just your mod alone if that were the case? Clearly you have done something different than everyone else and that is why I am asking you why is it when I try to increase unit sizes (WHICH I VERY WELL KNOW IS AND SHOULD BE POSSIBLE) that it stops working. Yet I can do the exact same change to any other mods unit size for said specific troop with no issues? Now if you are trying to change say cavalry from 40 to 90 you may have issues, ive only gone as high as 65 for those. same with catapults take a little more changing.

Now if you don't want to help nor care and just want to be rude and ignorant I will not bother with your mod at all not a problem, there are tons of others I can enjoy without hassle. But U would think you would want to at least try to help a fan so you don't give yourself a bad rep for being well to be blunt, and ***. Pardon my french.

and I do not care about balanced fighting.. I care about bigger numbers and bigger battles with more troops especially since seeing a simple 100 units when u can have up to 250 is a joke. And should not be a problem here as it doesn't create a problem for any other mod in which I have changed. It should be as simple as opening the unit desc, changing the number ex,.48-90 in the correct location and it should give more troops, easy and simple like the last 1000 times ive done it before.

Okay what have you guys done! I have played many mods and have plenty experience changing files around to my liking for personal use only. However trying to increase number of soldiers per unit seems to be a pretty big issue for ur mod, never experienced in this such way. I increase say one unit of infantry from 60 (180 guys) to 90 (240 should be the MAX cap according to game limits.. so why is it when I change this the mod stops working.. Ive noticed a bunch of copies of files and baks up for those copies.. ive tried to remove those and just use 1 still no change mod stops working, I can add more resource just fine, but not change number of soldiers? What have you done to present this problem? Ur files are such a mess some guidance would be greatly appreciated in getting this function as it should. Thanks!

Sorry for the long wait there was some screw ups with internet service. Anyway The Star destroyer is here! Although I ran into some problems playing it with my ram, I did not have enough at 8GB to add many troops at all without crashing. Sadly this may affect future maps for me until I get a better pc.

Hey guys, so I have been busy working away but unfortunately the Imperial Star Destroyer Will not be ready to upload this weekend as I also have been packing to move for the winter. The map is about 90-95% complete just finishing off some details but it will be worth the wait. As soon as I get the net set up I will post it along with an addition map release. So The Imperial Star Destroyer is Almost upon us folks! I am 3/4 of the way done, Walls are up, Lay out is set, Textures/floors are in, Now its just time to put in doors/details and fill the rooms up. Another day to a day and a half and we can expect a post :).

Thats okay. What you have is still I find, the best out their in the terms of soo many options and ships and bonus. I love it. Playing any other mod now seems soo.. dull hehe, I mean the support ships! Amazing!

What is polaris like? I noticed a mod for that on your website and an article here too, I am curious, I downloaded mod incase I get the game in future looks very interesting, is it like Sins?

Hello all, do not worry the imperial star destroyer is coming! I have been working on it the past couple days and I hope to release it before the end of the weekend, Now I will not be able to complete the Mon Calimari cruiser for a couple weeks as I will be moving locations so it will take me sometime to get settled and setup again but hopefully will see it before christmas holidays. I May release a surprise in its stead we shall see.
