On board the Austerity, Sion Desyk gets up from his desk and shut of his computer terminal as they have finally arrived. He straightens his ornate coat, leaves his room and looks to the two guards at either side of him. The guards are a specialized trooper detachment assigned to Alliance intelligence and are therefor marked with grey and yellow, instead of the more standard white and blue colors. He gestures for them to follow him as he moves to the brig where the Grand Admiral remains under guard. An identical set of guards to his own are found guarding the Tiruel.

"Grand Admiral, as you may or may not have guessed we have arrived at Saleucami. It would be in your... best interest... to facilitate a peaceful transfer of power, and the surrender of your forces on the planet and in orbit." Sion says.

On the 2nd Flotilla flagship, Kitwarro orders a full sensor sweep and scan of the system to get his bearings.

Needless to say, Tiruel was in a foul mood; "Yes, of course, if I cooperate maybe my sentence will get reduced from liquidation to termination. Lead on, lieutenant." The former Grand Admiral got up from the seating and held his hands forward to be bound.

The 2nd Flotilla is quick to discover that the system isn't as undefended as one might previously assume. There was, arrayed before them, a vast warfleet in jagged lines. It was the Hutt navy and they sent their transmissions.

"Ho ho ho, if it isn't the Alliance. We of the Hutt clans appreciate you've come to honour our old pact but worry not, our ships and our legions have secured and pacified the little warlord's realm."

Captain Isarch receives an order for him to attend a holo-conference with the Rear Admiral and the Hutts. Before doing so however, he sends a short transmission to Desyk.

Before the brig forcefield is even lowered, Sion Desyk hears the notification of an incoming message and presses the button to acknowledge the call. Corvin Isarchs voice comes through the communicator; "Desyk, you may want to hold off with your scheme. The Hutts are here, and they have taken Saleucami it would seem. Admiral Kitwarro and I will be opening up communications with the Hutts in a moment." he says.

A frown appears on Sions face... Best laid plans and all that he thinks to himself. He moves his wrist up to chest height and responds. "Very well Captain. I will... Stand by." He moves to look at the prisoner and says; "It would seem... Grand Admiral... that you have nothing left to bargain with." and turns his back on him for the moment.

Meanwhile the Alliance Flotilla slows down, by Kitwarro's orders as they attempt negotiations.

As the Rear Admiral and Captain Isarch enter into a holotransmission. Kitwarro bruskly announces to the Hutts;
"Grand Admiral Tiruel have surrendered to the Alliance. There is no need for the continued presence of Hutt forces, the Alliance is ready to take it from here." Being a bit more diplomatic, Isarch quickly adds; "We are of course glad of the assistance of the mighty Hutts in this conflict, you have suffered a terrible insult during recent events." He says calmly.

Fleet Master Daarga the Hutt smiled a slimy smile, as only a Hutt could; "Ho ho ho, friend of the Alliance, no need to fret. We can more than take care of this." It licked its mouth from side to side with a large, disgusting tongue.

"Perhaps you misunderstand Fleet Master Daarga the Alliance have long claimed this system and the rest of the sector. We insist... That you leave." Kitwarro says, in what was to everyone who knew him, perhaps the most diplomatic tone the Hutts would ever get.

Isarch stirred but said nothing.

"Ha! 'Claimed' you say? So the Alliance finally reveals its true colours, you are not better than the warlords or the Cartel you claim to be so above. If it's a war you want, then in the name of the supreme mogul, a war you shall have." The communication was cut.

Shortly after, the Hutt warfleet began to power-up its combat systems and raise the alert levels. Weapons, shields, engines sprang to live as countermeasures and jammers were activated and strikecraft squadrons deployed en masse. The gravity well generators aboard a select number of vessels were initiated also.

On board the Alliance flagship, Kitwarro gave the order for the Flotilla to halt. In a fleetwide communication, he ordered everyone not to fire unless fired upon.

The fleet is reordered into a new formation with the Absolution in the center, flanked by the Star Hawk. The Endurances stick to the rear of the two large flagships and deploys several wings of Starfighters and bombers. the Four Scythes are divided towards the flanks, as is two CR90 corvettes and the five Corona frigates. The Sixth still being in the hanger of the Absolution.

Captain Isarch opens a new line of communication to the Rear Admiral; "Admiral, how do you want us to handle this?"
The response came quickly..; "Do nothing Captain. If the Hutts consider our claim illegitimate, then theirs is most certainly not. So we'll, stay and put our feet up."
"And if they attack?" the captain asked.
"Then it wasn't us whom escalated. Nor were we the first to break communications or activate gravity well generators. No matter what comes next, I'm confident we have acted in a manner of which the Senate will back. And... it would seem the Hutts are ready to act on any excuse to start a fight anyway." The Admiral replied and the Captain replies with the acknowledgement; "I will put my feet up then."

The warfleet remained on high alert, standing-by. The many ships, though of ald design, were built from new for the purpose of serving with the revitalized Hutt nation. The warships were all designed in traditional Huttese colours and patterns displaying a sense of unity and pride, hearkening back to the lost halcyon days where the Hutts ruled the galaxy.

Each ship was packed tightly in a staggered formation, arrayed before the Alliance as a barrier to Saleucami itself. The ships bristled with weapon emplacements, the low hum of energy pounded within the ears of the eager crew.

It came as a bit of let down that the Fleet Master never gave the order to push ahead or open fire.

The blockade continues as the ships that the Centrality sent arrives a bit delayed and take up position to the rear, the Endurance and the two Ardents placing themselves next to the Alliance carriers.

*Kain Talus sat aboard the bridge of the Endurance, though in command of the ship and her escorts, he now answered to Kitwarro. It made no difference to him. Though the Hutt armada that was between Saleucami and the Alliance fleet both worried and relieved Kain. It meant no further attacks against the Centrality for the moment.

"Lieutenant Drexler, dispatch a runner to Erilnar. Inform them of the situation. I want repairs started on the Pillar and the Star Gazer. But I want them to stay in the Erilnar system, it will have to be basic repairs until they can get to the shipyards on Scillal. Dispatch the remaining Ardent and Raider class to Scillal for repairs. The Vigil will remain as escort for the two destroyers." Kain explained. "Have engineers start working on the GTSW as soon as they have the time to spare, I understand the damage done to Erilnar is crazy. And finally this is to be sent to Scillal and the shipyards there. Make it quick, Lieutenant." Kain finished, handing over an encrypted file to the communications officer.

The Lieutenant wrote up orders and attached the file to them, quickly sending them out. Not long after, 2 Nune Class Shuttles escorted by a squadron of fighters left the Endurance and made their way out of the Gravity field. Once prepped they jumped to hyperspace.*

OOC: Just a single move by me. the file attached contains orders for the shipyard. Ori, you will see what i decide in the pms.

Following a lengthy blockade, the Cartel warfleet stands down and exfiltrates the system provided this isn't barred by the Alliance forces occupying the hyperlane ingress/egress point.

*The Centrality fleet departs (Insert my post on the next event) and returns to Erilnar with ships needing repairs to be looked at.*
