I wish journalism focused on something meaningful for once. Science, politics, philosophy... Not their fault though, it's the people's. Sigh.

On one side, this is ridiculous because who would care for such small things?

On the other, media and information are becoming so fast. If we want to know something we will know and very quickly, a person in Japan could know about a crime in America before the American town would know.

It is an age of information and ignorance.

We make our lives far too easy (which is strange since my grandma of a mother cannot even figure out these simple things) but this easy life has led to a segregation of social classes if one pays attention.

We have the intellectuals who put the technology to good use and seek to explore its functions and use it to further their power.

And the... Less smart *Ahem* they life for only the basics and if they seek something more advanced, an intellectual is nearby to do all the work.

Its all a bit vague as both types of people can rise and fall depending on the objective, I bet a less smart person would be very experienced in being a sloth and could easily teach an intellectual how to do the same.

Journalism has always been saturated with absolute crap just like everything else.

This isn't new at all.
