"Cuss" is the proper word. "Curse" is that politically correct bull.

Actually, I'm from Florida.
Southerners...
As a part time Grammar Nazi I must point out that "curse" makes sense as they are words which are very literally used to curse someone, just minus the voodoo.
Example: 'Eat **** and die.'
One person is wishing another ill, hence the word "curse."
