I'll start with the dating methods he claimed work. They don't because for them to work the scientist MUST know all the variables, (ie starting point, and if the rate was constant) without those it won't work. Next point I like it how he mentions distant stars yet doesn't even hint the fact that comets would have disintegrated over more then 10000 years. Still here are some possible explainations for why stars are billions of years away: 1. God created the light on its way to earth. (unlikely but possible) 2. God created everything closely together and then streched it out. (possible but makes sense with the final point better) 3. When everything was closer together the gravity slowed time so much that to an earthly observer it would appear like a short amount of time. (this combined with the 2 point makes sense) next I do believe in micro-evolution since I see it on a daily basis. However I have never seen an animal changing to an entirely new kind, niethere has such an event been ever documented. Last point, just because I or anyone else believes in creation doesn't make them dumb or stupid. For example I'm constructing a hidden gun, based of AC 2, with a bunch of my own modifications. (I'll post a video showing it on the AC group once I finish) there I think I covered everything:D

What fact? Comets would not have disintegrated in 10000 years. In fact, they will likely still be around when the sun goes red giant in 5 billion years from now.

All we see are the effects and we both agree on the effects but we both try to fit the effects to our beliefs. It would be better if we focused on things that can be proven and are much more interesting (i.e. Sharing interesting expiriments:D) even if a bunch of science isn't fully understood. (I mean I saw some pretty weird things like telekinetics on YouTube, I have yet to prove it by conducting my own tests) also we could focus on how to make the world better then just debating about the past which neither of us can prove.
I'm trying to end these useless debates where neither of us can prove it. Evolution is just a view of the evidence which COULD also be used to support creation. And since niethere of us were there at the beginning then we can either trust a theory which totally tries to get rid of God, or we can trust a historical documant, which was written by people that saw a great deal of those things. I rather try my luck with God then against him:) lastly, I'm sure Adam wrote down what he saw and passed it on. Adam saw God creating the garden of Eden, he didn't see God making the earth since he wasn't alive then, but he did see God making the garden. Which then means that God made the other stuff too. Anyways I'm never becoming an atheist, and it looks like most of you will never become Christians, so if you want we can stop debating this.

I recommend we just have an entirely scientific debate on whether evolution is viable or not, just the facts. The bible is not considered a historical document, clearly Christian-biased OR atheist-biased websites cannot be used as sources, and God cannot get involved (and if a group can't pass these regulations, it ISN'T SCIENCE). Then we can actually have a discussion on science, which is what evolution (and this group) pretains to.
Not everything on a creation OR Athiest website is biased. However like I said previously we should focus on all the other aspects of science AND value each others opinions. I mean we could be sharing actual science that can be proven not historical science.
That's true, not everything is, but a hell of a lot is. And I think that limits our subjects, we're not going to just ignore sections of legitimate science because religious people are unwilling to accept them. (Evolution IS actual science that can be proven)
Then why hasnt it been proven yet? Where's the missing link? (or maybe the entire chain is missing?) point is evolution is not science. I could use the same observations and prove creation. But that would be my interpetation of the evidence, just like evolution is the interpetation of the evidence. Fact is that we are here. Beliefs are that we appeared from a rock for no reason what so ever. Or that God made us from dirt with the purpose of us praising him. Neither has been proven. So both are beliefs. We don't have to debate beliefs in a science group. If evolution is true then there has to be some expiriment that I can do which will prove to me that it really happens:) now before you bring up the one and only version of evolution that does commonly happen(micro-evolution) know that I am convinced that happens because I have seen that a lot of different dog breeds can breed, and still produce a dog. I never saw an animal become an entirely new species though.
Anyways either we can both post belief based items, or we cannot post a single belief related item. I really don't like having my interpetation called unscientific, while your interpetation somehow is scienetific, both are just interpretations of the facts.
