The spider and his menacing shadow. Have I mentioned I like cool shadows?
That may not seem like a big deal. Until you go back to Quake 1. There were NO shadows, unless the map "light" util rendered them. And then the first attempts at real time shadows that came out later in source ports had a few issues.
