no one individual has influence, but the fandom as a whole has massive influence (or at least all of us star wars fans like to think we do).I know from browsing the profiles of many different contributors on Wookieepedia that i'm most certainly not the only one who feels this way, however (and i could be wrong) I was probably the first to have the balls to stand up and say "wait a minute, this is not how it happened" me and alot of other people like me watched the clone wars from AOTC as it was being written to ROTS, then this movie & Tv series comes along a good 2 and a half years after the saga was completed and claimed to revisit the clone war and tell new stories within the established canon. they lied. Other people like me sit quietly and just let it happen, yes their opposed to it but they don't speak out. then on the other side of the spectrum you get those who are fanatical about TCW and despise all of the old stuff.
I can understand children liking the show, its designed for them and they are too young to be exposed to the stuff that we were exposed to, that's forgivable. but when its full grown men, my age and older that express a fanatical interest in the show, that's when i start to loose faith in the human race and the franchise as a whole.

with that's its a majority rules sorta thing. the majority however sides with TCW. This is one of those special cases where the majority doesn't really know whats best for itself and the minority does.
