A tactical squad based shooter, from Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon creative director Christian Allen's development studio. Inspired by Rainbow Six, this is a thinking-person’s shooter. This game focuses on realistic weapons modeling, squad based play, in a close-quarters battle setting. You will have to assess the situation and plan your method of attack before missions and perhaps during the missions if things don't go as you planned.

~ Takedown: Red Sabre ~

Takedown: Red Sabre is a first-person shooter and a tactical shooter. It aims to be a "realistic squad-based shooter", a genre considered as abandoned by most developers today in favor of more accessible, action-packed shooters like Call of Duty.

The game is aimed at a mature audience that prefer to think before they shoot. It is considered by the developer to be a spiritual successor to the original Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six and SWAT series of games. It supports single player, co-operative play, and adversarial multiplayer gametypes.

I think I would go alone unless I could supply all the other people with some form of weapon as well.

As for my weapon of choice, I have two options: I would either go with a Scythe because of the badass factor (Love Scythes ...) or I would go with something more practical like a Sniper Rifle or maybe some kind of robot killing machine programed to only target specific people that will be identified with a DNA scanner.

As for the name of the group, Devil Dogs...Because it's a reference to a reference. (Referencing StarCraft's Devil Dogs, which references the real military group "Devil Dogs")

1.)Alone, because I'm used to performing tasks alone.
2.)SW1911 with a suppressor and tactical knife. (I like prefer lurking in the shadows)

1. I would take a team, a coordinated group is far more efficient than a single man.

2. A suppressed weapon, preferably a PDW as combat inside a house is very tight, and has minimal space for bringing a weapon to bear.

3. Goodnight™.

1. I would take people. Even if those guys are untrained, at least enemies won't focus only on me. Twenty enemies are too many, one man can sneak into house, but only hardly can take out all before they suspect something.

2. If we are trained and there is a way to go unnoticed, I would take Scorpion EVO 3 with silencer - small, light, reliable and deadly efficient. If they know about us, I choose VEPR12, or Saiga12. And flashbangs may help - no need to worry about hitting the hostage.

3. Rescue Party. Simple enough...

Q1: If you are going rescue a person in a house where there are 20 enemies and you have the choice to bring people to help you or to go alone. What will you do?

A: I would bring a four man squad. Each member would be geared differently to serve different combat/support roles and maximize our chances of effectively eliminating the threat and/or securing the hostages as safely as possible. I'll list my weapons/gear and theirs in the next question.

Q2: What type of weapon would you use in this situation?

A: I do best with long ranged weaponry but this situation calls for a different approach. A suppressed Colt M4 is a very simple to use and effective weapon, and would work well in this situation. I'd probably go for a holographic sight. For a sidearm I'd carry a suppressed MK.23 (same sidearms for the rest of the team).

My team would have one man with a shotgun (not the most subtle weapon but they are more accurate than video games give them credit for and are very useful in CQB type situations).

One man would carry an M249 and a suppressed SMG (maybe a P90) as a backup. The idea there is to essentially have a lot of dakka at our disposal just in case things really go to hell quick. He can use the SMG throughout the mission but he's got the M249 just in case.

Last man is going to be outside with a nice piece of concealed cover and an SR-25. His job is to thin out enemies outside, possibly hit a few through windows, and most importantly... cover our escape if we need to make a break for it.

Q3: If you are a group, what would you have called your group?

A: Shootaboyz

1: With a team, I can't risk the life of the person just because Im a lone wolf

2: I would use a Heckler & Koch MP5 sd 3, im too weak for meele weapons and I would rely more on spraying fire than my aiming

3: Cuddly kittens

I would bring one quickscoper, one 720noscoper,one brain surgeon, and some skrublords to distract enemies. My strategy is simple, send some skrublords to distract the enemies and then quickscoper and 720noscoper will do their job. A brain surgeon is needed as a placeholder for the actual medic. And I'll yolo rushing through enemies.

Jk.

I'll yolo_tryhard alone. I don't trust silly gooses 11/10

Drone, drone, drone, and drone. Very simple and no human life needed to be sacrificed. Tho will cost 9.5/10 pentagon would not agree.

I'll rush with a knife if needed tho.

there's too little information given in these questions. "rescue a person where there are enemies" could means anything from the generic "armed hostile group taking a hostage and you need to save the day.", "your best friend is losing a strip poker and you need to get his money (and his arse) back.", or maybe even "your crush is in a matchmaking fair and you need to beat the other competitors to win her heart."

then, let's assume it's the first one as it's the common assumption. it's still unclear about many things. who are they? what are these guys motives? money, trade negotiation, or what? also what is our motive? are they the bad guys, or we are the bad one? are they a terrorist group who captured an important person, or they're cops that interrogating our big bad boss? are they just street thugs who are bullying a random man? or maybe you're just some kind of fantasy hero who want to save the damsel in distress?

so, how many people I should bring and what kind of "weapon" I would use really depend on the actual condition to get the best solution. tacticool are not always the answer. sometimes you just need lotsa money or negotiation skill to beat these "enemies" depending what they want. this is my answer because I don't really like the "shoot ALL the bad guys!!" mindset that pretty much is what most of recent games offer.

oh yeah, name. I don't really care about the name, so I'll just give name whenever I like. usually I'll just use my internet username.
