SWOOOORDS! Colon Lords of the Sword is a cooperative dungeon-crawling brawler for up to 4 players. It's inspired by Gauntlet, Golden Axe, Bastion, and Spiral Knights.
I made a quick bugfix release. These bugs are pretty annoying, so I would suggest you download it. Here's some gifs to entice you!

Uh...I have no clue to how I purchase swords in this game.Like none.
You just have to come close to the sword you want and then just swing with your current sword :)

I've actually already been working on one! I'm about halfway done and just need to stop getting distracted by other projects.
What is the maximum level of the dungeon? The maximum I've ever got was at level 7, so I'm really curious about how far I can get
The dungeon goes on infinitely! There's no end. According to my stats, people have gotten as deep as Depth 12.
Say, does the difficulty increase again? The highest level I too have reached is 7. I noticed an increase in the enemies' strength after level 5. Does this occur at a later point as well?
Also, does progression in sword strength cease at the trio of Finn's Sword, Terminus Est and the huge one that makes explosive skulls (my favourite, though I can't remember its name!)?
The difficulty keeps increasing indefinitely, but not in the same way as the level 5 upgrade to "elite" enemies. Those are indeed the final swords. The sword you are thinking of is TRUE DOOM MURDERHEAD, a term borrowed (with permission!) from the Barkleyverse: Kickstarter.com
I like this game, but I have some problems. When I unlocked levels 6 & 7, it wasn't appear in start level menu.
You're not supposed to start any deeper than 5, so getting messages for unlocking lower depths is indeed an error.
