In 1986, the world's worst nuclear disaster occurred at the Chernobyl power station. Soviet authorities established a 30km 'Exclusion Zone' around this nuclear wasteland, but in 2006 a second explosion rocked the stricken reactor, obliterating all living things and causing the Zone's boundaries to ripple outwards. From this epicenter came waves of mutated creatures, deadly radiation, and a strange, anomalous energy. The Zone was cordoned off by the military, who would shoot on sight anyone foolish enough to brave the horrors within.

I've found file conflicts if I try use this version with ZRP. Does ZRP is totally incompatible with it?
ZRP isn't compatible unless you modify it. Memories of The Zone has ZRP and it uses OGSR. However Memories of The Zone uses an older version of the OGSR and I amsure the differences are quite smal. I am sure it doesn't have SSR or SMAA and some other small things and engine level fixes.
Does these modifications are only text changes or I need to recompile something? I don't have any experience in modding SoC.
It's a few things, scripts and configs. The best thing to do would be to try and add the latest version of OGSR to Memories of The Zone if you want ZRP and the best features.

I've downloaded all necessary files of Memories of the Zone, installed in the correct order but just pasting your version of OGSR over it didn't work. Am I doing something wrong?
You can't just copy and paste it over.. it requires some manual merging for most files..
There will be soome conflicts between scripts. You might be able to get it working if you use the existing scripts in MOTZ since they use ZRP ones and OGSR and both have most likely been edited to work together. But I wouldn't bet on it. MOTZ is good enough with a few less features and some extra engine bugs. It doesn't take away from the experience. SSR is rarely seen since there is so little water in the game and the puddles created when it rains looks nice but again don't change much.
OGSR also isn't my creation. It is an open source project that anyone can download from their github in a pre-compiled form or you can download the source and edit it as much as you like or just compile it yourself.

OGSE doesnt support modern OGSR. If you want OGSR engine get the OGSR with english patch or get OGSR english edition. They are both mods of OGSE that are great.
Hi, I've been using this engine for about a few months now, I've merged it with a sort of NLC weapon pack (Original weapons though, just reanimated), as well as making a script work from ZRP (The repair weapons & suits addon).
What I want to know is if there's an SDK for this. I've been meaning to work on OGSR SoC by adding new levels like Darkscape and Dead City, but all to be faithful to vanilla (Vanilla textures, assets etc), further working on the scripting, adding quests, etc. All I really need is to find a proper SDK that will work with this. Do you happen to know anything about this?

EDIT: I've found it, it's a sort of SDK 0.4 version patched by YURSHAT. Excellent way to start making maps and editing stuff on the classic engine, and it works on the newest OS versions, so no need for Virtual Machines!
Yeah i can send you a tutorial on how to get the sdk for soc.it has some unofficial patches bit they are great since it adds a 64bit compiler.
Can you share here on MODDB that scripts that works with ZRP and OGSR?

These should be the necessary files that make ivantsov and screw repair your gear, a "must have" thing in stalker :)
EDIT: Also, if you want to have some nice weapon bobbing, you can enable it in config/external.ltx and find
"wpn_bobbing_effector", set it to true and remove any ";" that are in front of any line related to the effector

No order whatsoever, because they will not overwrite anything. As I'm still a newbie on script merging, I've yet to bring back the sleeping dream mod and the bag to the game, but we'll get there some day :)
I just installed the mod and im having a problem whenever i open inventory my mouse cursor is stuck outside bottom right corner.
I cant use any key as keyboard is working but no key get to the game and if i move the mouse top left i can see the icon on the botton right but the cursor gets teleported offscreen again...

Me again i completly uinstalled because i had 2 more mods(Stalker Weather Overhaul 3.1.1 by trojanuch_csfm AND OriginalWeaponsRenewal3_SOC) for graphics i then reinstalled and the only mod is OSGR...
It still bugs out as soon as i get a ak from the dead guy in aggropon when it gets into my inventory my mouse goes outside window and my keyboard dont work with the game.
Can i doo something? i would like to play this mod if possible.
The only thing that work is Alt F4 to close the game...
That is quite strange. I have heard of this issue before but I am not sure why it occurs and I am not able to replicate it.
I wonder if that could be possible to use this and Moddb.com together, that would be lovely :D
For OGSR to work on this you'd need to make many changes.
Is anything else needed with this mod or just the base game on steam? I noticed the other ogsr or ogse mod's all require a seperate 6gb download. Sorry, new to modding stalker.
You only need the base game for this. I posted this so people could use it for the vanila game if that is all they wanted.

I have had Zero issues so far after several hours of play. I forgot how great this game is. With this mod it really holds up well still today...especially with the A-life.
