Sombras de Guerra: La Guerra Civil Española is a PC video game of the real-time strategy genre, created by the now-defunct company from Malaga, Legend Studios, set in the Spanish civil war. The game allows to lead different armies and factions that participated in the conflict. It took 3 years to complete and had a budget of one million euros, achieving some commercial success, although it received mostly negative reviews from the specialized press.

1. Get the game and install it

I'ts hard to get a physical copy, specially when it falls under the "abandonware" category. Objetivo España is a standalone expansion.

2. Install the patch 1.1

Without it, the game will work very fast and some skirmish maps won't work at all. It fixed both issues for me for both Sombras de Guerra and Objetivo España.

3. Play

Don't expect a great game. But it should work, at least on win10.
