ReversE is a point A to point B mirror logic based puzzler. The game spans across a series of increasingly complex and intricate puzzles which aim to test your logical skills, reaction times and spatial awareness. Navigate your way through levels using a combination of logic to solve puzzles as well as switftness to avoid the many obstacles and dangers within levels to complete them in the fastest time possible. Whilst the game appears easy to play it can be very tricky to master especially in later stages.
ReversE is presented to you by Andrew Lloyd a sound designer/video games/film enthusiast.

i would buy it if i had paypal -_-
Do you also plan to release it on Desura ?
I am giving the game away free for 24 hours gogogo!
I did send an application to Desura however it was rejected, apologies for now that paypal is my only method to distribute currently. However watch this page in another 3 hours.... there will be a special announcement
Why it got rejected ? Maybe because you included facebook, twitter,IndieDB logo in your game ?
To summarise they basically said "The gameplay didn't look sophisticated enough" - This I can understand, I probably haven't found the best way to show the games variance in difficulty off with the video I posted. I will be working to correct this after Christmas. They also stated "They did not feel there would be a big enough market" - I could see this being a potential issue as frustrating puzzle games aren't entirely everybody's favourite cup of tea unlike for example FPS/RPG games that have a massive fanbase. Clearly this issue shows there is a need for me to connect to a specific audience and give the game more of an identity in terms of genre/expectancy. Having reviewed what I put up I definitely think more media/changes and overall improvement to the game could fix this! I can't wait to start once we get the holidays out of the way!
No mention of the social links were made, although now you have said that it does raise an important point that maybe I should remove them for general use. I literally included them for now as it is my first commercial project, I am trying to gain visibility as a developer and share my works with the world! Maybe this method was not the right choice on reflection. What is your opinion on it? Would you include these in Geometric Shift anywhere?
Maybe you could add some Effects to the game. What about adding some particle effects and a Point light to both of the Spheres. I think it would look much better.
In my opinion the gameplay of your game is good but you should make the first levels a bit easier.
You could also add some special objects like jump plates and Speed booster plates which would improve the gameplay. In my opinion this would make the game more interesting.
The links of your game should not be always on the right side of your main menu. Maybe you could make another menu called Community and put them there because you when you see them in the main menu it is like you are constantly watching advertisment.
Geometric shift:
I am not sure if i will add social links in my game.
I think i will only add a link to my website.
Thanks for your feedback man, you have given me some very interesting points to consider for an update and to take the game forward :D I really appreciate it!
It is an interesting thing with the community links as well. I think that could be a much better idea than as you say keep having adverts at the side :) I definitely think a link back to the sites a good idea :)
Merry Christmas and a Happy new year to you also! :) Thanks so much for being a star for me! :D
