EVGA Powers Primal Carnage
February 4th, 2011 - Lukewarm Media announces its partnership with NVIDIA's #1 Authorized Partner in North America, EVGA. Lukewarm Media will be using EVGA gaming hardware to develop and test their upcoming game title; Primal Carnage.
By using Lukewarm Media's "Primal Carnage" game and EVGA's top of the line hardware the partnership aims to create a graphically stunning product that pushes the boundaries of current video game technology.
"Working with EVGA has been a fantastic experience. Not only is EVGA one of the top graphics card companies in the world, they're also a company I'm proud to be working directly with. I have been using EVGA hardware way before I even got into the game industry so it has been a honor to be able to work with them directly. EVGA understands game development and have done a lot for our team already such as sending out hardware, cross promotion, and giving me the chance to 'pwn' them in an alpha test! I look forward to working with EVGA and I personally think this is a huge step forward in direct development with a hardware company/game development company thanks to some 'outside-of-the-box' thinking from both sides. I've been using the EVGA GTX 570 and this card is beastly!" - Ashton Andersen, CEO Lukewarm Media

I love the dinosaur animations and sounds!
Yeah, keep in mind.. This is pre-alpha. We have been focusing strictly on control systems, animation systems, functionality. You will see a major boost in visuals in the next few weeks. I mean major boost!
Nice, because that was the thing that was annoying me, the scenario looks too empty and simple. Everything else looks very good although the Trex moves a bit weird from the human perpective, it may be the lag since its an online match
I'm using an EVGA mother board and so far I've been impressed with it, fairly affordable, good features that I can actually use, no problems so far. Glad to see them supporting indie developers, I hope this pays off for you guys in a big way.
I know it's pre-alpha footage but the UI doesn't fit the game it's too colourful :D . Just my own opinion here ..... the game looks great so far I'm sure that in it's final stage it will be AWSOME !
They should add character model customization so your player doesn't look like everyone else and makes the game look dull.
I feel the trex is too slow, i thought 2 legged creatures were sprinters? THat guy is the dino equiv of the tank from L4D, but it has none of the ability to catch stuff
Yes he does.. he has full sprint animations and abilities, just did not show them yet. We don't want to show everything at once.
THIS GAME ITS GETTING AWESOME !
I just don't undrstanded the :
EVGA,powered by EVGA lol
good movie
Nice video guys, but you REALLY needed a shot of the trex grabbing someone, makes the video look very one sided...
I agree.
awesome!!
TRex model, texture and animations are beyond amazing. However i am not sure how would gameplay really attract me as player.
Once again, totally awesome.
This is PRE-ALPHA, which seems to be something that once again everyone seems to not know the meaning of, so I can really appreciate what I see here in this video.
I am even more eager to see what's in store for this games future now :D
Keep it up guys, this is awesome!
I agree!
Wow that's awesome, are you going to be able to destroy buildings etc with t-rex? :D
You guys have come a long way since I last checked in with you.
The animations looks near seamless and absolutely badass and the entire game seems to have a nice, albeit different from what I'd imagive, feel to it.
Great job.
Looks to me like Rexy just ran around doing nothing.
It seems like the Trex is a bit hard to use, and has a really hard time biting any player, if anything it's just a really big distraction so smaller dinosaurs can attack.
Everything looks great, but the thing is, I really don't like the first person movement of the general character. It looks likes he's bouncing. Also, no recoil in 3rd person : /
Everything else looks epic tho, really well done!
xD THIS LOOKS FRIGEN EPIC!!!! I GOT A SHIVER DOWN MY SPINE FROM WATCHING THAT VIDEO!
Very cool as always.
I've had 2 EVGA graphics cards in a row (a 260 and a 480) and they are awesome, never had any kind of problem.
Run Bitch Run!
