Out Of Hell is a horror-themed, first-person action/survival game where players assume the role of Donovan Ling, a police officer who is sent to investigate Grinwood after a demonic invasion ravages the town. 'Out Of Hell' is a full-blown remake and extension of the developer's previous project, 'Out Of Hell 2009'.
Hello all! I have started the crowd-funding campaign for Daemonicon and you can check it out here: Indiegogo.com
The response I got from Out Of Hell was overwhelming to say the least which is why I am so confident in Daemonicon. It will contain much of what you loved about Out Of Hell, the atmosphere, the themes and the visuals but overhauled, polished, expanded and integrated into a bigger, better, more open game!
I hope that you would consider aiding me by making a contribution to Daemonicon! Being able to hire more help will cut development time (you won't have to wait another 7 years) and provide a more solid product. Any and all help is appreciated guys! THANK YOU!!!
There has been a nice updated with plenty of new screens for project Daemonicon! 3 more monsters revealed, some weaponry and images of the day/night cycle...

Reminds me of killing floor
I trust the combat will be massively improved in this one, right?
I'd like to implement combo striking, stunning and evading mechanics for melee combat. Gunplay is...well, gunplay. :)
Good to hear! Alongside poor optimization, combat was the weakest aspect of an otherwise great mod.
I'll spend more time tightening up the screws! I ain't making the same mistakes again. ;)
oh ****. OH ****! A shame that Daemonicon does not seem to be around anymore but an Out of Hell remake on UE4? That is something i did not expect. Super hyped! Any plans for a kickstarter or something similar?
No plans for any crowdfunding at the moment but if there was, it would be near the end of development once I have a near-finished product that I can present. I imagine the funds would be used mostly to hire programmers to tighten up the code and hiring other help in the areas of marketing and advertising. As it stands right now, I'm able to do much of the development alone and if needed, I can always hire one or two people whose expenses I can take care of myself. :)
Awesome to hear. Hope the project will go well! Really could use a good horror game and i have honestly not experienced anything that got me as frightened as Out of Hell mod. Just out of curiosity, will most of the stuff u made for Daemonicon appear in this remake?
All of it including the art and many of the gameplay features. Daemonicon/Infernal Dead was a spiritual successor to OOH with many of the same themes and characters. I finally came to the decision to just do a proper remake of OOH, since basically that was what Daemonicon and Infernal Dead were anyway. :)
Awesome news! Thanks for the reply and good luck on the project!
