Open-Source reimplementation of Westwood’s Command & Conquer: Red Alert game engine, updated to use the hardware acceleration of modern video cards using OpenGL and OpenAL for sound playback. It runs natively on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. The game was designed with modifiability in mind, but is not identical to the original. Campaigns and mods made for the legacy game won't work out of the box.
Constant soviet air raids on a remote village call for an intervention of the allied forces. An OpenRA exclusive single-player missions that relies on exploration and finding the weak spot to strike.
Scary! You have to destroy the village? :o
Probably the player have to protect it from the total destruction.
Scary? What about Soviet mission 1 and NOD mission 1?
Eh, NOD 1 only really wants you to remove a local warlord because he disagrees with you.
Now, NOD 4, on the other hand...
Nod, not NOD.
Damn. Didn't even notice. :/
oh sounds like a good mission, so 100% destroyed village means mission failed?
Yes, you play as the good guys.
Interesting idea, I'd like to try this out.
You can. This is already released. Go to Singleplayer - Missions and scroll down.
This looks like the perfect place to hide a cult. Calling it "village" as well. :P
Suddenly flashbacks from that RA1 map, "The Hills Have Eyes"...
Seecret Hilly billy cult!
It is pretty cool that you guys make your own missions. <3
Ohh I recognise the level. Soviet Mission 1 but with a temperate theme instead of snow.
No, it is a unique map and mission.
Like every good C&C player, I'll just destroy the church and get the credit
