Myth III: The Wolf Age takes place 1000 years before the first two Myth games.
This prequel is a fully 3D squad-based Real Time Strategy (RTS) fantasy game that follows the life of Connacht the Wolf — the legendary hero who saved humanity from the Myrkridia and the oppressive Trow to ultimately become the Emperor of all human lands.
Set in 1421 AE, Myth III: The Wolf Age opens with the world in chaos. Most of humanity has been scattered for centuries. To defeat your enemies, you must cast spells, gain experience, collect items, and build ancient devices.
Features:Beautiful landscapes torn apart by the horrors of war. Trees and grass that sway in the breezes, and can be flattened by explosives. Flowing rivers and babbling brooks can hold an entire army of undead under their glassy surface.
Carnage the likes of which mortals have never seen. The bodies of the battle-fallen litter the battlefield - their blood flowing down hillsides and tracked on marching boots.
Over 40 unique units - each with their own attacks and spells, with over a dozen skeletal animations each.
25 Single-Player Levels which will challenge every aspect of your command! Conduct sieges, defend the walls, and explore labyrinthine dungeons. Battle in sweltering deserts and vile swamps - under rain, wind, and snowfall.
An epic story ties together the missions and gives insight into the past - and future - of the Myth world.
Play on-line right out of the box, battling against friends on specialized netplay maps. Play games like Capture the Flag, Territories, Steal the Bacon, and Assault. Feeling friendly? Team up with your friends to try the single-player game co-operatively.
Create your own maps and units with Vengeance, the Myth 3 tag editor.
Click here and take a look! Quite why anyone would pay that much or consider asking is beyond me. I get the impression that someone thinks it is worth more than it is, especially considering they have a baby on the way and they are expensive. I wouldn't pay £10,000. £100 - £150, maybe so but I haven't got that cash to splash around.
It comes in it's own special wooden numbered box. I assume that the front is lazer marked. Looks fantastic either way. Also in there is a poster, a card from bungie, a TFL t-shirt, the TFL game jewel case and the soundtrack CD.
Though to be honest, if I wanted another copy I'd look here Instead

Uhm... The game developer company was MUMBO JUMBO.
BUNGIE didn't actually had any part on this game.
yeah, where is the myth 2 mod page?
Where's the Myth II mod page? There are so many awesome mods for it, including a conversion of every mission from Myth I, a civil war conversion, a mechwarrior conversion, a vietnam conversion...
Myth 2 was a classic
Still, the blood looks good from 97.
heh, i thought it was myst.
if this is anything like the second one (which i was a big fan of, 'back in the day') then it kicks ***. if it isn't... then it still probably kicks ***, just not as much.
It doesn't kick *** sadly...#2 sure as hell did though!
The blood effects have been done like that since the first Myth from 1997.
great multiplayer game to.. huge battle fairly unquie when compared with so many other games.. like a hybrid FPS / RPG
