Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries is a battlemech piloting simulation and part of the Mechwarrior and Battletech universe unleashed by FASA Studios. In April 2010, MekTek received permission from Microsoft to release the game for free using their MekMatch torrenting program. Now that MekTek has refocused its energies on Heavy Gear, it is up to the community to keep the classic mech piloting tradition alive. This group will also serve as a platform for downloading new content created by the community, including new maps,mods and mech decals, some of which have been hosted by other enthusiast sites.

A notice to let people know that I intend to keep on working on my packs

Hello, mechwarriors!

Yes, I am still alive! Yes, we're still kicking! Yes, I do intend to keep working on Mech Packs!

The page is now technically controlled by the FASA page here on ModDB, but the individual user can still post content. I will continue updating the packs I have posted. I will post new packs in the future.

Already, I've made updates to most of the existing packs. The Mechwarrior Online Pack definitely needs some attention, and I apologize for neglecting it. I intend to overhaul all the variants and make them as close to the existing game as I possibly can.

More decals are on the way too, and the best part is compared to Mechwarrior Online, you don't have to pay extra for THESE! XD

And I'm pleased to report that I was able to connect to Clan Coyote's Mechwarrior 4 server on GameRanger after proper port-forwarding! Come join us!
