Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries is a battlemech piloting simulation and part of the Mechwarrior and Battletech universe unleashed by FASA Studios. In April 2010, MekTek received permission from Microsoft to release the game for free using their MekMatch torrenting program. Now that MekTek has refocused its energies on Heavy Gear, it is up to the community to keep the classic mech piloting tradition alive. This group will also serve as a platform for downloading new content created by the community, including new maps,mods and mech decals, some of which have been hosted by other enthusiast sites.
Description
This file pack contains three hotfixes for .0030-final which should correct the issues some pilots have been having with campaign missions. Winrar is required to open this file.

Whitewolf, is this patched for windows 7 64-bit? Also, is the HD-Patch included in this?
It works to fix the game's issues with helicopters and freezing.
The HD patch is not yet included. We're upgrading the client in phases to make sure nothing else breaks.
Some people are having issues enough with Windows 7 and 8. While the game was never designed for those operating systems, Clan Coyote is working hard to try to come up with solutions.

Hey, I'm running Windows 7 and the fixes did not seem to work. Do I need to start a new campaign in order for them to work properly, or maybe do a fresh install?
Cannot confirm windows 7, but windows 10x64, this patch fixed the issue.
I'd just like to say thank you and Clan Coyote so much for continuing your efforts on this game! This is the MechWarrior that I grew up with, but I somehow missed the MekTek stuff while it was around and noone kept a torrent up, so those additions were going to be lost in time. But you guys managed to rescue the game and made it even easier to download and install, plus you're still working on HD textures!
Thanks again for the time and effort. MWO is fun, but ever since the Clans came out I've had a hankering for good ol MW4 with its' more advanced tech and favorites like the Bushwacker.
I don't know how hard this game is to mod, but it's too bad that the multiplayer community can't be revived with a new set of balance mods and new chassis. We can only hope, and until then thank you for giving my childhood MW experience life once again :D
Allegedly, Battletech Star League and NetBattletech are working on another update pack. We're working on connecting with them.
