We are proud to announce that we will be releasing our original dark fantasy action RPG title, Immortal Darkness: Curse of the Pale King, on PC through Steam this month on the 17th!

Immortal Darkness: Curse of the Pale King is a dark fantasy dungeon crawler that blends the best of old school dungeon crawlers with modern graphics, slick combat, atmospheric audio, and an enthralling storyline. It features challenging real-time tactical combat, a wide variety of spells, and an immersive dungeon full of lethal enemies, sadistic traps, and stimulating puzzles.

Industry veterans and co-creators Chris Shrigley and Damon Dubois were inspired to build a dungeon crawler that married accessible action-adventure gameplay with the intimate, story-driven feel of tabletop gaming. To achieve this goal, they enlisted world-class help: writer Ted Petersen of Elder Scrolls fame, renowned game artist Yigit Koroglu, expert visual effects artist Joel Benefiel, classically-trained composer Jan Glembotzki, and primo voice actress Lani Minella. “This is the game we’ve always wanted to make,” said lead designer Damon DuBois. “In many ways it is a love letter to all the great RPGs we’ve played over the last few decades, whether on a game system or a tabletop.”

The game is a good old fashioned, single player romp through 15 levels of mind-bending puzzles, fiendish traps, devious enemies, evil bosses, and secrets,” added lead developer Chris Shrigley. “Lots of secrets. All wrapped up in a rich story and game universe.”

Immortal Darkness: Curse of the Pale King is our studio's first release.
