The skies darken as Harbinger enters a solar system, dwarfing planets and leaving devastation in its wake. Entire civilizations are cleansed, planets eliminated. The majority of the survivors fill the ship’s work camps. Those less fortunate are released to the laboratories where vicious experiments eventually rid them of their sanity. But a few have escaped and formed an underground society deep within the forgotten levels of the behemoth. Equipped only with what they can scavenge, the denizens of the wastelands must resist the relentless patrols sent for them. A ship this size has many places to hide and much technology to exploit.

Play as one of three characters.

Born and raised in the wastelands, the human is no stranger to hardship. Captured stealing weapons from Vantir stockpiles, he has spent the last five years interned in Harbinger’s work camps. Escaping at the first opportunity, he fought his way back to the wastelands. Armed with a hardened resolve and a greater understanding of the ship’s layout, he has finally come home.

This robotic life form is a victim of the laboratories transferred consciousness program. Minds from conquered foes are fused with powerful battle machines. The result is a race of unquestioning warriors that can intelligently react to any situation. Having fallen in gladiatorial combat, he was decommissioned and scrapped. Reconstructed by wasteland scavengers and freed from his code, a new battle is fought within. His quest for purpose and identity threatens the very core of his sanity.

A peaceful race, the Culibine have evolved the ability to manipulate ambient energy. Unprepared to defend their planet, they offered one of their own in exchange for freedom. After the exchange, their planet was annihilated and none were spared. The last of her kind, the Culibine shifted Harbinger’s energies against her masters, and escaped. Fueled by rage, she gathers her energies awaiting the chance to avenge the betrayal of her people.
