Gunman Chronicles is a futuristic first-person shooter computer game using the Half-Life game engine. It was originally planned as a total conversion for Quake; it then switched games to Quake II, followed by another switch to Half-Life, before being spotted by Valve Software and released as a stand-alone retail product in 2000.

There's the "Gunman Chronicles Steam Version" in the download section of Gunman Chronicles. Just needs Half Life 1.

I completed it and wow, it's one of the best short mods for GoldSrc! The quality of mapping and gameplay is of top notch, just like as original Rewolf's creation! Play it now, if you haven't did it already.

That was excellent! Short but fantastic, felt like I was taken back to the Ferrin Moon. The mapping was superb, really nailed that Gunman atmosphere. Nice variety of enemies when appropriate. Added effects tricks like the glow from fire or thrusters from the departing spaceship were also a great touch.

Gunman Chronicles needs to be re-released and deserves a lot of attention. I beat it a few weeks ago and i absolutely LOVED it. It deserves many mods, addons, expansions, sequels, a BM equivalent, hell a WHOLE SERIES!

this was my first mod for gunman, it was a bit short and i absolutely love it.
Very small "Blue Shift" for Gunman Chronicles. Second episode is the perfect location choice as tension of falling asteroids and approaching planet is the most interesting ground for a fun experience.
The design perfectly captures alien look and feel of the game. The whole experience feels like a small DLC made by original developers. Stunning alien landscapes take turns with indoor bases. The pacing is perfect. Each time the decorations change it happens at the moment when it would overstay its welcome if took a little longer, so you never feel that a segment is too long or too short. All landscapes and gameplay situations are different from each other, there is a pleasant surprise behind every corner.
There is exploration for hidden secrets, battles are well balanced and there are professional touches that unobtrusively guide the player.
Overall this is a great addon that gives a gift of spending 30 more minutes in unique beautiful world of Gunman Chronicles.
