i ve finished the first 2 worlds for quite some time now and i m stuck at [to be continued]
pretty strange... on my pc it ran all out-of the box, even my laptop didn t encounter problems!
for the record: my desktop has an Nvidia 9600GT with nvidia-drivers installed and my laptop has an nvidia GTX 555M --> which is an OPTIMUS card! optimus cards are known for its linux problems, i ve been busy for quite a while to get that construction working, but strangely caster doesn t complain about that...
nb: use the latest stable bumblebee from the bumblebee team to get it working right (NOT mr mee s version, cause thats outdated!)
CASTER IS AWESOME ON THE IPHONE
Seriously the game isn't bad but I don't understand the 10 grades at review page... If you consider for exemple the exceptional Braid to be 10 how can we mark 10 to this game! A 5 or 6 should be better, in my humble opinion...
A different problem (with solution) here on Chakra 64bit. First, my hardware configuration:
Asus M3A78 Motherboard
AMD Phenom(tm) 9950 Quad-Core Processor
RAM 4GB
Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti 2GB
Proprietary video driver installed: nvidia 290.10 (nvidia and nvidia-utils packages)

Couldn't set display mode: Failed loading libGL.so.1
Couldn't set display mode: Failed loading libGL.so.1
I've checked /usr/lib and libGL.so.1 is there.
I've tryed removing bundled libs and found that libopenal.so.1 is the problem: deleting it the game runs fine.
So the speculations are true then - game is having problems with duplicate libs. Strange.
I bought Caster from Elecorn before and that version works fine for me. I'm having an issue with the music in the version I bought in Desura.
When the menu comes up I hear sound for a second or so and then it cuts out. I still hear the sounds of the buttons and other UI elements. Likewise, when I started the first level I heard it's music for a second and it cut out. I could hear the acceleration sound of the charater and the hum of the glowing question marks. (I didn't know they made sound before now.)
This console output might be useful
Pre Initialize sound.
Attempting to initialize the PulseAudio sound interface
[Error] Failed to Create OpenAL Device.
[Error] OpenAL Error: (null).
Attempting to initialize the ALSA sound interface

Post Initialize sound.
Well, now the music works. I didn't change anything or download any updates. But now, when I start a level I hear a big boom and all the enemies that are supposed to be hidden underground appear.
