This is a 3d side-scrolling remake of the 1988 classic NES game Blaster Master' The tiny 8-bit sprites will be reconceived as high poly normal mapped models' Gameplay and level design will remain true to the original, but the art style will have a more organic/grotesque/creepy feel to it' The engine is based on the Quake source with some heavy modifications that I've made to the renderer' The game will be freely distributed and users do not need to own any other software to run it'

Your modelling skills is awesome, you can believe me, i don't like lying =)
Remaking is a good thing, making something great live again, with new features. I don't know this game, but it seems it must be great, so the next thing i should do is...check it out :P

I've been making a lot of progress on the engine the last few weeks and I finally fixed the lighting. I'll get a mockup level started and post an in-game screenshot soon.

This was my all time favorite NES game... and now it's becomming 3D!? Somebody slap me! Man, I hope you do well on this. I didn't like Blaster Master 2 (because it was on Sega and felt wrong). The original was great and I wish you good luck.
