The story in Battle Group will take players into a world on the brink of collapse. The spread of piracy is threatening the major trade routes of the world, and the nations that rely on them.
These pirates have purchased a vast arsenal of modern weaponry from cash strapped nations, and have furthered their reach by utilizing modern fighter bombers, torpedo boats and attack helicopters to disable and plunder merchant vessels. Only with the nations of the world united, can a fleet be formed to challenge this growing threat. You are the commander of that fleet.
The sinister motivations behind this shady organisation will be steadily revealed as the player progresses through each mission of the lengthy campaign. Told through professionally voice acted dialogue, each briefing will fill in the gaps of a global conspiracy; one that threatens the future of the entire world.
